>You back away. The danmaku moves a bit faster than you can back away, and you almost have to  back away to end of the section you're in before you can evade it, bringing it perilously close to your face. But you manage to get away from it safely.

>Oh well...
>You let the  stream of green shots pass, then speed ahead. Above you are two lines of red, and below is a line of red and a line of orange. Neither seem easily navigable. You easily reach the point you were at previously with no problems.

> Keep on heading forward, then. Since avoiding buullets in this tunnel seems to require little brainpoweer, let's fire off more arrowheads at the oni as we head in.

>You draw closer and closer to the oni, opening fire on her. She darts away, but don't move too far. You think that the card must restrict her movement.  She swoops back an forth, but at this distance, your shots are dense enough to be dangerous.  She moves left, and one catches her in the shoulder, she moves right and another gets her on the side. Then another one slams into her chest, and the bullets around you start to fade as the spellcard gives way.
>The oni shakes her head. "Well, ain't that something?" she says as she flicks her spellcard in your direction. You can hear laughs and cheers from the crowd below; though you're not sure if they're cheering for you or because your opponent was bested.

>You follow along, making sure not to lag behind the tengu's quick pace.
>You make your way to The Deodand Rose and head inside, noting that the door, the windows, and much of the shop face seem to be quite clean and free of wear and tear. Inside, you see the the place has several large tables set near the middle, and some smaller ones on the side, while booths line the wall. A long bar stretches across the far side of the tavern, and you can see Nue is there, pouring some sake. The bar is reasonably empty, and about half the tables are occupied. The odor of drink lingers in the air, and a low murmur of conversation fills your ears.
