>Alice shrugs, "Suika said she would hang around Patchy's library with Yukari for a while. Maybe you should visit Byakuren and then the Taoists. Suika will be around all day, really."

>You, Alice, Marisa and Kouga all head for the Myouren Temple.

>"Okay, Kouga? The folks here are an okay lot, though they tend to be a real hassle when they get riled up. Well, with the exception of Byakuren, she's pretty hard to rile up."

>When you touch down outside the Myouren Temple, you can see Nazrin just walking out.

>Alice flushes a deep red and doesn't say a single word.

>Take Kouga aside with a grin. "Up for another prank? This involves your tiger form as well."

>Grin. "Fly down to somewhere out of sight, shift to Tiger Mode, then jump out towards that Mouse Youkai there with a roar. She's Nazrin, one of the people who reside here."
>"Then, provided it freezes her to the spot like it did with Tenshi the first time, pounce on her, gently. Then just shift back to normal, I'll leave the rest of it up to you."

>Then, Kouga leaps in front of Nazrin with a roar.
>Nazrin immediately lifts up her dowsing rods with a loud scream. She is frozen in place.

>Kouga then pounces. Nazrin falls back onto her backside with a squeal. Kouga then lands about a foot or so in front of Nazrin, avoiding her flailing dowsing rods.
>He then fades back to his human form, holding out a hand to help Nazrin up, "Chill out, kiddo."
>Nazrin stares, then begins to shout at him, "What is your problem?! Going around scaring people like that, you could have hurt me!"
>Kouga grins sheepishly, "I could have, but I didn't."
>Nazrin sighs, standing up, "Yeah, I guess you didn't."

>Shou then walks out, "Nazrin, what's going on out..."
>She smiles briefly when she notices Kouga, "...here?"
>Shou then goes to Kouga and shakes his hand almost frantically, "Hello! Welcome to the Myouren Temple! I'm Shou Toramaru, but you can just call me Shou if you want~! Strange to find someone else like a tiger around here, eh?"
>Kouga blinks, "Uh... sure... yeah... strange... um, I'm Kouga. Nice to meet you."

>Marisa and Alice both head over, too, not wanting to miss out on the possible fun.

>Chuckle. "I gotta admit, definitely seeing it now that I've got you to compare to."

>You head into what looks to be a living room. Byakuren is talking to Murasa, both of them sat around a table.

>Murasa leans around, "Byakkou? That's that White Tiger god or something, right? Which one is it... uhh... the north one, right?"
>Byakuren frowns, puzzled, "You know, Murasa, I'm actually not sure~..."

>Shou facepalms, "Just another of the, um, usual conversations that goes on around here."

>Sigh. "Worse than I heard. I did get the one who did it though. Turns out it was Tenshi, that over-excitable celestial. Apparently she went around the bend herself after getting pranked real hard."

>"And before you ask, it wasn't me, I was too busy resolving her antics to prank her."

>Byakuren frowns vaguely, in a way that looks scarily unnatural on her, "Oh, her... I heard of the incident with Hina, and was wondering what was up. I went to see if Shou, Murasa or Ichirin wanted to come with me to investigate. The next thing we knew, Ichirin screamed and we had to dig her out of a pile of... well, rubble."

>"And before you ask, it wasn't me, I was too busy resolving her antics to prank her."

>Murasa laughs, "Oh, please, you're responsible, aren't you? Why would we think you'd done it?"

>Chuckle. "Because I mentioned earlier that I've been feeling impish today, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that some folks would suspect someone who said that."
>"But anyhow, she really got hammered hard, prank-wise. A peach pie to the face, fish in the shoes instead of socks, ice in the undergarments, and apparently some kind of cheese got stuck in her hat too. You guys shoulda seen her, she was a real mess." Chuckle a bit.

>Grin. "Because the honest folks like us you can always trust to be predictable. It's the screwy folks like the fairies that you have to watch out for, because the only thing you can predict about them is that they'll do something stupid, and/or crazy."
