>"But y'know, I'm kinda surprised Alice didn't have any, I mean, you work with it on a regular basis, so it's not too much of a stretch for me to imagine you have some kind of spell that conjures that sort of stuff out of thin air or something."

>Alice shakes her head, "No, no, that type of conjurations are beyond me. Besides, even if I did have any, Marisa would have beaten me to the punch anyhow."

>Yukari looks in the book again, "So you have to say a Latin spell? Interesting."

[Hanzo K.]

>Suika is looking at a section in the part of the book, "Yeah, says as long as the summoner is holding the charm and standing in the spell-circle, the spell can be said by anyone."

>"But isn't the whole thing linked to whoever summons it? That could be a problem if the shikigami I'm after ends up bound to one of you guys instead."

Alright folks, here's a few ideas for the name, I figured I'd get some input from the other players.

See, a tiger's claws are kinda like crescent moon yeah? So maybe something that follows that theme.

>You all make your way to an opening in the library, where everybody else except Marisa and yourself form a large semicircle around the centre of the opening.
>Marisa, using just her hand, shuffles around on the floor and draws a glowing magician's circle, complete with a large star in the centre. It slowly begins to rotate, glowing a bright gold colour.

>Suika passes you the book, "Remember what you've got to do if you want a half-animal shikigami or a regular animal one!"

Animals - Felines
Cats, Tigers, Lions and More.

Shikigami cats are versatile and loyal, but carry that certain stoic manner known by none other. Proceed further, summoner.

Cats
For cats, channel your magic onto a hand-drawn magician's spell circle and say the following words.
A cat is a cat. Summon a cat.

Tigers
For tigers, use one of the Tiger charms, and perform the same spell for the cats but with the aforementioned charm.

Lions
For lions, take a Lion charm and perform the same spell for cats with that charm.

Other
For other feline creatures, use a Miscellaneous charm and use the Cats spell.

Half-Animals: Half-Feline
For those who wish to have the main abilities of a human, with cat-like aspects. These shikigami have the ability to transform into their shared animal.

Half-cat
To summon a half-cat Shikigami, draw a magician's circle on the ground, channel your magic to it and then draw a line through the middle.
Then, say: This is the half cat, summon a half cat.

For any other type of half-cat, use the charms in the Animals: Felines section and perform the same spell above.

>"Ah well, let's see if this'll work." Start putting whatever magic we have into the circle.
>Then chuckle. "Wonder if the star will change to a yin-yang orb or something?"

>Then sling an ofuda at Marisa in a half-joking way. "We can't have a screw-up like that now can we?"

>Marisa leans to the side, "Yo! You could put someone's eye out with that!!"

>"Ah well, let's see if this'll work." Start putting whatever magic we have into the circle.

>You begin channelling your magic into the circle. It begins to glow a bright red, and begins spinning so fast it becomes a blur.
>You swear it looks a little like a yin-yang orb, but it may be just the blur from the spinning.

>"Hey, Yukari? Think my ofuda will work to make the line?"

>Yukari nods, "Yes, it will. As long as it makes a line, it'll be fine."

Okay folks, now's the time if you got suggestions for a name! I've already mentioned my two ideas.

>The circle at your feet begins to glow different colours... red... white... black... green...
>The image of the Shikigami you are after begins to materialise in your mind. It takes several seconds, but soon the image is clear.

>The incantation echoes a little more than it should do for, well, an echo.
>Swirls of light from the circle at your feet spiral up to the charm in your hand, which magically leaves your hand and melts.
>The liquid falls to the floor, and when it touches the floor it begins to grow.
>It takes on a human shape, and you see it begin to grow to just an inch or so shorter than you.
>The liquid suddenly explodes and dissolves into magical sparkles.

>Standing before you... is your Shikigami.

>Suika stares for a while, "Got to admit, he looks a bit like Momiji and Shou's lovechild." (I COULDN'T RESIST.)

>Clear our throat some. "A-nyways....There's a spell to summon a shikigami to it's master instantly right? I think I can put that to a lot of use."
>Grin. "Especially when I show Sanae how she's falling behind!"

>Yukari nods, "Shikigami are renowned for being weak when the distance between them and their master is large. Summon them, and they'll feel it and instantly teleport. Ran has that, but she doesn't use it much as I tend to pull her through gaps more than anything."
