>Yamame looks over her shoulder, "Dunno. Kisume told me they were at it since Suika appeared down here last night. Sometime around midnight or something. Yuugi and her have been drinking hard ever since, I only turned up an hour ago.
>Suika and Yuugi seem to be arm-wresting whilst downing as much sake in one go.
>Yukari giggles, "I'll never understand how Oni drinking competitions work."
>Yuugi lowers her sake dish for a breath, at which point Suika slams Yuugi's hand on the table, winning the arm-wrestle.
>A large uproar ensues, and Suika stands on the table with her hands in the air, "Finally! I (hic) won!!!"
>Yuugi laughs, "Yep, you did.. thought I'd win that one, too (hic)."
>Suika then sits down opposite Yuugi, "Next round!! Time for (hic) the upside-down round!!"
>Both Yuugi and Suika then get into handstands back-to-back on the table, drinking their sake upside-down. Yuugi is keeping her sake dish facing upwards, probably not to spill it.
>Yamame begins writing on a sheet of paper, "So Suika won Round 57. That leaves Yuugi on 28 wins and Suika on 29 so far... it's a tight match!"

>Yamame shakes her head, "I've been asked to record the whole match. All the Oni are too drunk to hold a pen, Parsee downright refuses and Kisume is too busy watchin' the thing. But I'm also recording the bets. Want to place one?"
>Suika topples over, and a cheer erupts. Yamame scribbles down on the notepad, "They're tied!! Holy crap!! They're taking this to 100 rounds, and that was just the end of round 58! Yuugi was on a winning streak earlier in the danmaku-drinkathon, but Suika held her own in the one-footed round and the standing on fire round. This is getting pretty heated."
>Yuugi grins, "Round 59!! I challenge you to a sake-spinning race!! Marks, set, go!!"
>The pair then do pirouettes whilst downing sake quickly. They're wobbling dangerously, but it's any person's match now.
>Yamame scribbles down, "29 all. Taking bets if you want to place them, double or nothing! For example, 400 yen would get you 800 if your chosen one wins, but 0 if she loses!!"

[Hanzo K.]

>Chuckle. "It figures, with a match as close as this. But at least it solves why that little drunkard hasn't shown up lately."

>You hand Yamame 800 yen, and she sticks it in a small bag around her waist, "Brilliant. That's 1600 yen if she wins. You seem pretty certain about her."
>Yuugi topples over first, and Yamame writes it down on her notepad, "Suika is now on 30, Yuugi's on 29. Round 60 now."
>Suika stands up, hiccupping, "Right now!! First one to do 20 squat thrusts (hic) wins! Drinking the whole (hic) time!!"
>The begin doing very poorly coordinated squat-thrusts, gulping down lots of sake.

>Grin. "I've gone up against her in the past, back before the underground was ever open for travel. And let me tell you, she was one of the tougher opponents I had to go up against."

>Let's keep on watching. It's kinda hard to believe that Yukari didn't know about this though..

>Round 100. The girls have locked arms and are having a physical wrestle. It looks pretty heated.

>Suika gets up, shaking off the gathering crowd, and walks over to you and Yukari, "Heyy! When did you two get (hic) here? Glad you were here to see my (hic) victory, right?"

>She consults a price list under the stall, "Hm... dumplings on skewers are 200 yen for a pack of five skewers, pack of ten skewers is 300 yen, each skewer with four dumplings on... rice cakes are 300 yen for a pack of 15, but a pack of 30 is 450."
>Suika grins, "Miki, still curious as to how you can (hic) sell these quite cheaply when they're (hic) the best ones in the (hic) underground!"
>Miki gives a suspicious smile, "Oh, an Oni has her ways. I make 'em with ingredients that I get cheap. Just the leftover ingredients that the other shops can't sell every day, so they sell 'em to me for cheap. Not stale or anythin', down here everythin' tends to go off about twice as fast than above ground. It's the humidity from the former hell, and all."

>Yukari peers through a gap beside her, with a puzzled look, "Okay, I must have missed that. Why is Aya suddenly being very nice to Hatate when I saw her smashing Hatate's face in not too long ago? Bizarre girl, that one."
