I prefer moving in a sort of an 8 laying down shape, but the easiest and safest way to beat it is just to stream along the bottom of the screen, right? I don't think any shot-type is so weak that you won't kill the attack before leaving the centre, but if you would, you could just dash through a gap instead of cutting back.

Unless they are below full power I don't think any shot-type will need to change direction, I tried with MarisaC and B at 2.xx and full power respectively and they can do it no problem, I did have the frostthrowers at the centre of the screen when the attack started though.

I noticed a little bug/thing while doing the Marisa tries, probably old news, but if you bomb just before the dialogue starts the bomb will linger on Kanako and make her opener have about 25% less health when the fight begins. Same thing can happen in extra against midboss Kanako, so I assume it works the same way against all bosses in MoF.

I'm wondering about a "Lucky Dodges" compilation in the vain of the failure compilation videos that Ozzy does in that other thread we have around here.

Seems like it'd be a cool thing to have, we have compilation videos to celebrate our collective stupidity, so why not one to celebrate our collective ability to totally fluke dodges?  :V

Unless something like that already exists and I've gone and overlooked it like a fool.

I actually wanted to do a compilation video for some time, but I never did for no apparent reason. That, and I don't know if I should make a new thread where users can submit lucky dodges (like the "Let's Fail Touhou" thread where users can submit mistakes).

I have actually included a replay.  I use thumbnails as I can't manage to capture the part with Reimu in between the bullets and I thought too photos for a dodge seems too much

Anyway, I made a list of a very large chunk of the lucky dodges that have been posted in this thread. If a replay is available for every one of them (one is already available in some cases and are marked accordingly), I could easily do 2 or even 3 volumes (even though I don't have the 15-minute limit).

I'll PM everyone in the list who posted at least 1 lucky dodge, but has not made a replay file available (at least from what I know of). This goes for everyone who posted YouTube videos (marked accordingly), but has not made a replay file available, as well. If it's available on YouTube and the replay file is in the video description, then I won't PM you about it.

Just so you know, I can handle ultra patches as well as vsync patches, so don't worry about that.
