Counting Points is a little bit different in chinese Mahjong (as far as I understood it) You count your normal points (similiar to the Fu Value) Then, for each spezial, you double that value. open Pon Dragons / own Wind give 1x redouble closed Pon Dragons / own Wind give 2x redouble (basic points x 4) open Kan Dragons / own Wind give 3x redouble (basic points x 8 ) closed Kan Dragons / own Wind give 4x redouble (basic points x16) I had a hand, when I played with friends, that gave me 2560 points (40x64 (6 times redouble)) open chi (0 points) normal pair (0 points) open pon red dragon (4 points) (1x redouble) closed pon green dragon (8points)(2x redouble) open kan of my own wind (8 points)(3x redouble) (we played without Seasons and Flowers) Sad that our limit was 500 points xD btw: I need a good printable japanese Rulebook, because the one I have has chinese only rules |
