All in all, while the soup may be a bit of a different start to your day than the usual fare, you're definitely going to go away feeling full. And right now, simply being able to sit and eat a meal in peace is something in itself.

Though she hasn't gotten very far down the hallway before you hear her greet someone with a cheerful "Good morning!" She is answered by an incoherent mumble of syllables, only tangentially resembling a sentence.

The goggles she is wearing on her head are askew, doing nothing to amend the walking portrait of dishevelment. She mutters something unintelligible, then shambles off in the direction of the cookware.

>You chuckle quietly and finish up the last of your breakfast while Ishi putters about in the pantry and then shambles back into the kitchen with half a pineapple and some ham in hand.

Ishi's stature makes it hard to see more than the top of her head until you round the corner, but as you do, you find her cradling her arm and looking considerably more awake, if not any less disheveled. She glares at the stove and launches a swift kick at its base. The wince immediately following this maneuver suggests she is now enduring two injuries. Her block of ham, still unsliced, is resting partially on the corner of one of the burners and sizzling merrily where it touches.

Gonna be out of town tomorrow, got a wedding to attend. But, while you folks have Ishi here, after she pulls herself together, ask her about that odd part we got from the warehouse fairys way back when. She might be able to tell us what it is.

Happened waaaay back in thread one. I'd been re-reading the archives, just to see how many things had slipped my mind, since the beginning, and that was one of the bigger things.

Speaking of things I'd found in the archives, I also found something else we need to check out in Val R. Our pendant. It was described as, as near as we can tell, once having some sort of enchantment on it, that's either worn off or run out of power. Should find a mage to tell us about that.

The look of intense concentration on her face contrasted with her formidable bed-head paints a rather bizarre scene. You almost expect her to start absently sticking out her tongue at any moment.

While you start to clean them, Ishi finishing butchering the ham into submission and tosses the resulting slices into a frying pan. Fortunately, the stove does not make another attempt on her health; perhaps it is dissuaded by the presence of witnesses? Once the ham is merrily sizzling, she slices off a hunk of pineapple and tosses it into her mouth.
