>"Didn't see no zoggin' human m'self," says the oni. She takes a drink, then continues, "But Kita, that's the one who keeps an eye on one of the Deva's warehouses, she told me she saw one and ran 'im off. Can't say more than that."

>This is the second time you've heard about Kita, so you ask about her. "She's a big girl," says the oni. "Curled horns, kind of a long face. Big ole firm jaw, brown hair. You can't miss her."
>You can only imagine that messing with any Deva's warehouse is bad news for everyone.

>"Yeah, sure thing, kid," says the oni, as she hops off the crate she was sitting on and walks off.
>You make your way further eastward. You don't really know what this warehouse looks like, this is all new territory for you, so you largely just keep an eye out for an oni matching the description you were told. As well, you try to keep an eye on the general disapproval of your presence. The latter thing is not hard to pick up as you move deeper into the district, via the sidelong glances and such you get from the various laborers.
>Soon enough, you see an oni reclining on a barrel with her arms behind her head, displaying some rather impressive biceps and an equally impressive bust. Her face is kind of long, with a chin that might well pass for a man's on someone else, while small ram-like horns curl from her temples. Her hair is dark brown and braided into a long tail that is presently gathered on her lap.  Her clothing is a basic light blue blouse, and a long matching skirt with seashells printed on it. She is definitely keeping a lazy eye on you.

Remilius: Before you ask, a streetear is an oni that makes a living collecting and selling info.

I'm actually a little unsure of what to do next. The only info we've got from a couple places vaguely points towards the bulk of the city, which Kisume has already said she's essentially never been to (and wouldn't feel very safe in). And without any direction at all, and no sightings from the air, earlier, we'd essentially just be wandering the deeper streets. I have to wonder if Kisume would care enough to do this, particularly if she figures the guy's already likely to get his comeuppance from someone else.

Yeah, I'm finding it harder and harder to care about this investigation as it goes on. Might be better to go back to our perch.

If it were only the crashing her around, yeah, I'm pretty sure she'd give up on it upon hearing somebody dealing with him instead, but what about that weird transportation into the tunnels? I'm kinda trying to figure out if it'd be as intriguing for her as it is for me.
If we do go back, then let's get some refreshment at the river beforehand, now that we're nearby.

>Kita takes a moment to stretch, then nods and gives a grunt.
>It's not too far to get to the bridge, and thankfully the oni here are largely too busy to give you any difficulty. Soon enough, you are back to Bridge street, and looking southward you can see the cobblestone road giving way to the bridge. You can distantly see that the bridge princess is still there, standing by the railing and looking out over the river.

> Head on back out to Yamame, then.

>You make your way out, and follow the tunnels back until you reach Yamame's chamber.
>You hear the sound of talking as you approach, or rather the sound of what seems to be nonstop chatter. Walking into the chamber, you see Yamame is near the other entrance,  hanging from the ceiling by a filament of silk and fiddling with another web.  Close to her, you see a faerie, about two feet tall, dangling upside down from a web. She is talking, and you can't really get the gist of what she's saying with just a causal's moment's listen. Yamame doesn't seem to be paying any attention to the faerie, and has her back turned to you.
