Update for this week:
[attach=1]
This is the Nue one that I started last week that I was talking about.
Not bad I think, though it could be a bit fixed up here and there.

Was originally inspired by this. See if you can guess why

Wow it's been so long since I lasted posted up here. End of February is applications deadlines hell weeks, as I just learned. I've got to start earlier next year.
Here's something [relatively] quick I did for this week:

Why isn't there more Black Matagi fanart?

Slow updates, late revivals.
I've been re-watching Kamen Rider Kabuto lately, it's my favorite Kamen Rider, as well as my favorite show in general. I'm also watching Decade.

I've been meaning to try something new here. I'm not really going to do like some series or something, but just short short stories with pictures. That's not to say that some might not continue for a little bit. I realize there's some perspective errors and what not, but that's not really what I was concentrating on.

Song(s) listened to while drawing:
Jungle all the way - Swede Mason      Don't question, just accept it

Enjoy
Alfred F. Jones:
I'm noting a few small skewed perspectives, but instead of fixating on that, I'm more pleased that you avoided adverbs throughout that little blurb. And Reimu's look of boredom is just perfect.

This is funny, it's been about 4 months since my last update. I guess that's better?
Art Evolution:

I always like seeing improvements in anyone's art, but I hate showing early art; it's so embarrassing. But I figured it be an interesting pic.
And you might be wondering why the 2009/Early 2010 one on the top left looks the best, but that's because it's not my style, I was just drawing someone else's picture.
I'd say I haven't improved too drastically technique-wise, but my style went through several sharp turns.
I really want to improve though, seeing such little change frustrates me - that I haven't progressed much. I got better at the proportions in general, but I still need to work on perspectives; and trying to make the armpits, shoulders, and upper arms always harasses my efforts, so I'll probably be working on those over the summer.

Also I like to draw with my 0.3 H lead when drawing not haphazardly, which is why I have to utilize Maximum Contrast Power. Which is why it's hurting my eye since the lights are off right now. Eye, not eyes, since I'm currently wearing a pirate eye-patch I bought at a party store a while back and because I wanted to use it.

Let's see me attempt to update a bit more frequently. How about, say, in less than 3 months this time?
