This shuts her up at least, though she doesn't do anything more than just stand there. It'd be useful if she actually helped.
You find nothing of particular interest in this house, although you admire the owner's taste in interior design.
You are also getting that feeling that has started becoming all to familiar lately; that you've forgotten something.

Surprisingly enough, she doesn't complain, and does some (admittedly fairly useless) poking about in the next house you go to.

Somehow, it seems like a familiar feeling of forgetting. Like you've forgotten the same thing before just recently.

Once she moves out of the way, you can see that she's right. There are small puddles of blood on the floor. As you look around, you recall that this was the place you found that injured guy before. Presumably he was the source of the blood.
