>Fire back when the opportunity shows its self.

> If it wasn't for the ring, dodgeing would be a lot easier, but you only have vertical movement...

> Mentally assess prospects of eating Hatate.

> Pretty low, you don't like the taste of supernatural creatures. You tried taking a bite out of Mysctia and Wriggle when you first met them. Put you off Youkai and the like for life. Tengu are 'supernatural'.

>rember that the our read white friend said we couldnt eat the thief...... darn

> rumia: attempt to get around to hatate's backside. if we suround her chance of victory will probly increas.

> You also recall what Reimu said at one point.
> Both you and Wriggle close in, fireing nonspell danmaku. Hatate's breif stun wears off.

> "Not taking advantage of my Spell-Break lapse to use your own? You two really are fools!" Hatate taunted the two incoming foes, as she used her natural tengu speed to evade the nonspell danmaku with ease.

> You attempt to close in, but Hatate releases a multiple rings of kunais for her next nonspell. Looks like she really wants to keep you out of close range. Which is weird, considering she could get out of close range with ease with her speed.

>Rumia: Fly low and advance as close and we can and declare Night Sign: Night Bird

> Wriggle starts her Lamp Sign: Firefly Phenomenon. While Hatate's Kunai danmaku are more numerous, they are weaker than the actual spell-based danmaku. Hatate realises this is a losing battle, so instead begines evasive manuvers.

> You fly low, avoiding some stray danmaku, and then try to get close, however, with Hatate dodgeing at the speed she is, it's impossible to actually get close right now. Despite this, you use Night Sign: Night Bird, and start fireing waves of danmaku.

> Hatate seems to be having no trouble dodgeing with her speed and agility, but is not retalitateing either.

>think: can we break a spell of early, if so what would happen?

> You can't move quickly when using your current spell, and getting too close to Wriggle puts you at risk.

> Spells only break when they timeout, you've been hit too much, or the foe's beaten. However, the break due to being hit is due to concentration... so it might be possible to cut it off early, but doing so would require a massive amount of effort, as, while using a spell card, you are almost in a magical trance, and can't change tactics or anything.

>well drift as close as we feel is safe to wriggle.

> You don't know for sure. You don't even know if attempting to break the spell would work.

> You drift towards Wriggle. There's not enougn time on your spellcard for you to drift into a danger zone. You don't drift very quickly while using your spell.

[It's worth noteing that this 'stun' is literally two seconds. I got the idea from the gap between a spell and a nonspell, where you can go to the PoC and pick up the items. Still, two seconds in danmaku is a large enough opening.]

>keep firing untill the our spell ends. Hopefully Wriggle's spell will keep Hatate busy while we are stunned

> You began after Wriggle. Your spells will time out at aproximately the same time, although yours might be a second sooner.

>Once we recover, quickly take out Marisa's box, point it at where we think Hatate will dodge to next, and spark her ass!
>dont do this.... yet.  this is  one of our secret wepons, lets use it when we know we can hit her. besides, if we do this right we can deliver a kickass one liner.

> You consider doing this, but you decide against it, for now.

> Your spell times out, and Hatate makes a dive towards you through the last of Wriggle's danmaku as soon as it happens. She's holding a spellcard ready.

> You can hear the chimes that indicate that Wriggle's spell is just about to finish too.

> Hakkero Moonlight Spark in her face.

>we are stuned right now, we just have to brace for impact.

> You fish around in your pocket for the Hakkero, you may not be able to use danmaku, or fly about, but you can at least do that.

> Wriggle's spell times out, Hatate was slowed slightly by one final aimed shot, but she's close enough.

> "Rapid Shot!" Hatate finishes declareing. As she does this, a few arrowhead danmaku are spread around her, although not in front, and five large, translucent cones form, in a 180 degree fan-like shape, as she moves her camera around in an arc. They engulf you, but nothing happens.

> "Ready for your close up?" Hatate taunts.

> you feel like you can move now.

For a better idea of what these cones are, imagine this video, but in 3D... kinda hard to describe.

> Yes, Marisa said it amplifies magic, although she also didn't know exactly what would happen.
> You are not one to pray, but you hope.
> "Moon Sign! Moonlight Ray!" you cry, holding the card in one hand, and the Hakkero in the other.

> Hatate's face shows legitimate fear when she recognises the item you are holding.

> You don't feel like spouting a cheesy one liner while focusing your energy, but you do get the urge to call out the name of this attack.

> "Full Moon Sign: Moonlight Spark!"

> The Mini-Hakkero fires not what one would consider a Master-Spark, but a shotgun-like blast of silver beams, slightly smaller beams that you utilise for your Moonlight Ray attack.

> *Click Click Click Click Click*, you make out, over the sound of the Moonlight Spark.

> The cones collapse, includeing the one you are in, with a concussive wave. You're thrown back a fair bit.

> your vision is a bit blurred, and all you can see where Hatate was is a cloud of silver dust where your attack blasted her, which you cannot see through.

> Wriggle is not stunned from her spell anymore, although she is stunned from seeing the massive blast of energy you just fired.

> "Yo, Rumia, can I have a go with that toy next time?!" Wriggle shouted.
