Another round with a concentration of moe characters. I think Rumia's the most moe, but I may vote Suwako if she has a chance of beating Koishi. Shanghai is a fan-made character.

Well if you consider that Shanghai is just a doll type rather than a single doll. Then yeah I guess that would be "fanmade" in a sense.

She is. Alice has lots of "Eerily Luminous Shanghai Dolls," but it's never said that she has one named Shanghai. The closest thing she has to a unique doll would probobly be The Phantom of the Grand Guignol, but I don't think she/he/it is in this contest.
EDIT: I looked at the name at the site and it actually says "Shanghai Doll," so I guess you're just voting for any given Shanghai Doll, kind of like Zombie Fairy.

Well are youkai of the gaps has won round 26! This of course makes me happy cause I enjoy Yukari.

Now we move on to round 27:

Hourai vs. Rikako vs. Suika vs. Utusho.

My prediction for this round:

This is likely going to be a battle between Suika and Utusho more than anything else. The sad part is I like them both thus this will be hard for me to decide between a drunk oni and a nuclear raven. We'll see how this plays out.

I'm surprised yesterday's match got anywhere near as much attention as it did. It's the kinda thing that makes me fret for my two favorites who did well but didn't get Momi-level voting. As for today, I think this could very well be the 4th match in a row that the character I vote for will wind up losing.

The last 6 matches of the first round will be a real mixed bag for me. There's a match or two I'm simply not interested in, characters I love that I'll be voting for, characters I love but won't vote for because I don't find them to be moe, and a character I'll be actively voting against. I'm glad there aren't very many of those that have made it past the first round.
