Advent Cirno

Gappy:

I watched the video and listened to the song.

The battle system looks really intriguing. Sure it's only swordslashing and jumping at the moment but it still looks very impressive. I particularly like the simple user interface at the bottom. As I mentioned before, it looks very sleek and new-age, yet reminiscent of the old FFVII interface. The battle theme was energetic and heroic, something that really fits in with our heroine. It was a little repetitive though, in that it was a rather short loop, but I suppose that's just to be expected if you want to give it that FFVII feel. The sprites look very well done. The slashing animation's very fluid. I'm just wondering about the running animation, though, but I suppose that's still a work in progress?

The Reisen theme song was very well made. It really felt like a FFVII-ish (is that even a word?) remix of Reisen's theme with what I believe is bits of the Eientei theme (or are they one and the same? I can't remember). Puts in my mind a fast-paced event battle against the Turks in the middle of Midgard. A little bit somber though in places, perhaps that's just me. I was expecting her theme to have, well, more energy and bounce to it, AC Reisen being based on Vincent. But that's probably just me. Sorry I can't be more succinct, I'm no expert on music.

Achii:

@Tsalop thank you so much for the offer, but I'm kinda afraid that you might get discouraged by my...pickiness towards graphics >_< I mostly need help at least making the enemies and a few animations or at least someone help me level the designs so that I can focus on graphics 100%

@Mind-The-Gap Thank you very much for the encouraging words! Yes the running animation is kinda old so it's not going to be used, I'm in the progress of remaking it :)

I'll talk to tyvb about Reisen's theme to have it have more energy and bounce at some point and I hope we could somehow succeed in that although...

Other side note. I am sad to say I am losing interest in making Advent Cirno due to too much pressure, demands, so many fixes, the only person fixing all of the graphical aspects I just want to throw it out of the window =_=

WRATHIE_Beatrice:

Nuu dun quit! if there is anything we can help..

Elcura:

Wanting to quit is normal.  It's hard to constantly work on a single project all the time.  It's hard to work on a single task for hours, days, weeks on end.  My advice, since it isn't the sort of project that has a strict deadline is to take a break.  Play some games, watch some movies/anime or draw.   Do something to rekindle that passion and come back when ready.

It's a good test to see how well you can handle working on a project despite your personal feelings.  It's great for the real world and a true job.

Achii:

Hello everyone, I know it's been a while but.

The current situation for this project is highly unstable, I'm not sure of the root of the problem but it seems that it's related to me that has caused severe damage to my communication with someone and it seems I'm the one getting all the anger even tho I'm not really sure what's going on...

In short, the real time battle system looks like it has to go to the drain and I have to go back to turn based.

I'm not sure what to go on from here since I ditched the development of turn-based idea long ago and I have to salvage it all back it seems.

I'm just thinking if everyone will like this sudden change or if you guys liked me to stick with real time (I can still do it but it'll just take longer) and yeah...
