Sango discovered an odd set of stones laying at the bottom of the Misty Lake. Underneath them, there was a tarnished note.
"I have no ideas.

Thank you for your patience."
She tilted her head and tucked the paper back under the rocks, and swam away, continuing her day.

"Suika," Reimu asked one morning as they sat on the porch of the Shrine, "why do you always drink so much?"
Suika pulled the gourd from her mouth, swallowing a large gulp of sake. "'Cause. Sake is profound."
Reimu cocked an eyebrow. "I don't see how."
"'Cause." Suika rolled onto her stomach and grinned up at Reimu. "When people drink, they just do the things they want. They don't hide anythin', they're just them."
Reimu hummed, taking a long sip of tea. "Aren't the things they hide part of who they are though?"
Suika paused. "I guess." She took another long swig from her gourd. "I'll think about it after I drink some more."

and by that i mean i used it as the basis for the entire thing
Nitori tapped her foot impatiently. The Captain was late. The desire to unveil her wonderful new invention was overwhelming her.
"Nitorin!" The Captain's voice finally came. "What'd you--"
"Behold!" Nitori shouted, posing dramatically as Murasa came into view. "My new greatest invention!" She tore the sheet covering the device floating in the water.
After a long pause, Murasa spoke: "Isn't that just one of the airboats we almost killed ourselves on?"
Nitori's grin fell. "No, no, not that." She fiercely pointed at some planks floating in the water behind it. "That!"
"Wood planks?" Murasa rubbed the back of her neck.
Nitori sighed. "You wear them and then the boat drives you around the water."
"Oh." Murasa's eyes widened. "That sounds really cool!"
"It is!" Nitori pushed Murasa towards the water. "C'mon, put them on!"
Several hours later, the Scarlet Devil Maids collected two unconscious bodies from the Misty Lake and reported the proper authoroties.
