Just pretend my name is Kilgermayan. I hope he appreciates how late it is! x.x

So some notes about these developments before I potentially go to bed.
I don't plan on going anywhere with Mr. Kirisame being the Charms shop owner (tbh I had forgotten what business he had run in official canon, though I did remember that he had worked with Rinnosuke before - probably should have realized it instantly when Keine mentioned the apprenticeship but OH WELL). It just seemed like something neat, and something Nue would visibly react to.
With that out of the way, you will notice I did not go off on any of the other recent revelations. We do not know the exact details of all the exchanges that took place, or the motivations behind them. All we can do is speculate. Given the people involved, the last thing I want to do is accuse or make a scene.
My current theory is the most obvious one: Ichiro is Rinnosuke's "inside" man and is the one that lifted the cards from Tewi (not only does he have the talent, but Shuuei confirmed he was out of the shop when the money change thing happened). I don't know if he was a willing accomplice or if he was forced to do it like Tewi was more or less forced to do what she did. I also believe Kirisame is most likely innocent: I don't know why Ichiro wouldn't just go to Rinnosuke himself, if nothing else. I'm willing to bet Ichiro and Rinnosuke used him to make the paper trail longer, knowing full well how he'd react to being offered the cards in a trade.
However, I also do not want to make a stink about in front of Ichiro, not only because there's a chance he didn't do this knowing it would happen, but because I don't want to make that scene in front of Shuuei. I think we'd be better off writing him a subtly threatening note, one of those types that's all civil until the creepy warning at the end not to fuck with our cards ever again~ <3.
Other tidbits:
- I'd like to keep Ichiro and Kirisame in the dark about the stuff that remains until after the money is restored. Ideally I'd also like to have Marisa around to serve as someone to keep her father honest, though I don't remember if she and her father have a positive relationship at this point (it's entirely possible they don't). I will want to at least talk to Ichiro about it afterward, though.
- I'd like to keep everyone in the dark about everything surrounding Keine. The fewer people that know about that the better, both from an ego and a strategic standpoint.
- I would be surprised if Shuuei were guilty of anything, because there's no reason to take the chance Iku ever finds out her little buddy was taken advantage of to commit a crime and threaten the land, and the fallout from that would not be pretty. Best if she just stands there and looks good when adults are not talking, and runs off to play elsewhere when they are.
- If we run into Tenshi again, I think it might be worth asking her to have Iku deliver any letter we write to Ichiro, just to show we're really not fucking around. (Without explaining more than we have to to either of them, of course.)
