>You make your way back toward the main intersection in town. There you can see the schoolhouse, a small two-story building. You imagine the teacher probably lives in the upper half. A small playground is to the west of the building, carefully fenced off. Quite a few kids of various ages are gathered and playing there, likely children that followed their parents here. You notice a bell by the school's front door.

Some of them duck away when you look over toward them, but others brazenly continue to watch you.
>The door opens, drawing your attention. A woman in green stands at the threshold, and it takes you a moment to notice her features are the same as Mokou's companion from earlier. The horns in particularly catch your attention, as does her bushy tail, both raising your hackles a bit. This woman is most certainly a hakutaku.
