I... I never liked 10D's Stage 3 theme... I unno, too calm/peppy/whatnot for me, I guess. But Stage 4's theme just totally made up for that. And the Boss theme is even more fyes.

I've been reading up on the character profiles and I've come to a conclusion.

IMHO, they're the first real evil bosses in Touhou. Or at least they're pretty damn close to it.

And seeing how there is no Mima, I feel that ZUN deliberately tricked us. Since Yuyuko's warning was pretty ambiguous at best, saying someone "troublesome" was returning. Which could mean one of two things:

1. A character we know is returning.
 2. A new character who used to be around is returning.

But it was coming from Yuyuko, the great ghost princess of the netherworld, master of all things incorporeal (okay, maybe that's a bit much).  So people assumed she was talking about Mima.

*applaud* Great job, ZUN. That's no sarcasm. You really had us  (or some of us) there.

Well, managed to get my first clear of a game made after PoFV. And that's WITH making idiotic mistakes like flying into random bullets and dying with bombs in stock

Futo's (oh lawdy, I think I'm in love with her or something) theme reminds me of Alice's boss theme in PCB... D: the beginning part anyways. And then another part reminds me of Aya's MoF theme.

Oh good.  Got Cheat Engine in no time thanks to Mefidex's explanation of Spirit World mechanics I knew exactly what to look for... in other words, I'm now playing Ten Desires without Spirit World (And thus no computer crashing on leaving).  It's a bit of a handicap but not much of one - my first time passing stage 3 I went straight to the final card of the game.

Also the stage 5 boss is so much fun.  Actually all of them are.  This game is just awesome now if only I can beat it properly (I should stop going for some of the later life shards, they're a little too risky)

And oh my god stage 6's theme.  I love it so much.

It ended up being about as fun as I expected, I guess. The only annoying thing is how it incentives taking more risks - since I'm quite a bit unskilled, it often results in me being way too reckless, flying around everywhere trying to get points and ghosts, and crashing into everything.
Also, for whatever weird reason, I've been feeling this game is too short. No idea why, since there isn't much different from the other games.

Are you using a fixed aspect ratio (The black bars at the side)? I always stuck to windowed mode due to the sideways stretching until I found out how to get the black bars. With them it looks pretty okay at fullscreen
