Dormio you aren't supposed to fire nukes blindly into the horizon; it doesn't work that way.

Also, who is supposed to be retreating and from where?

>.<

Why do I keep forgetting these things.....anyway, England has to retreat their fleet from Holland, Germany has to retreat their Fleet from Denmark and Army from Austria and Italy has to retreat their Fleet from TYR.

Hmm, I think I should explain this. While talking to PX about his orders, he's apparently going to be away for a while and with Bard missing, Hero is going to be taking Bards place and will be in charge of England for a while. So if you need to make deals with England after PX is gone, you have to send your PMs to Hero.....I feel weird explaining this, like I'm not supposed too.....

Is this weird?

Um, no

A player spot is not here to participate in a vital part of the game.  If there is someone else who will take over doing that, it needs to be common knowledge, since we could sit here like idiots trying to communicate with a player spot that isn't going to respond within the phase.  So yeah.

I was gonna post this tomorrow, but I figured I might as well post it now.

I'm gonna be away from Friday evening 'til sometime Sunday afternoon, though I should still be able to send orders depending on when the next deadline is.  It shouldn't be too tight, but just an FYI in case I'm a little late.

Apparently, Thomas the Tank Engine isn't one to take crap from anyone.

Hey DollS, what would you think of only allowing solo victories, or limited allied victories of ~2 people? The dynamics of Diplomacy changes completely when you allow allied victories of 4+ people.

Yeah, I'd like the draw condition to be limited to 2 people at most.

Quote from: From the OP
The victory condition for this map is for a country to own 33 supply centers. All active players can agree on a draw if they think this condition can not be achieved.

That means that if you are in a an alliance, you need to knock everyone off who's not in your alliance and then agree to a draw between the both of you. There is no limit.

Edit: Although if it's really obvious one player will win, you can't draw between your alliance and instead can give the victory to that player so we don't have to drag this out. Also, I encourage individual victory and more deception.

In that case, I'll be heading over to America before the imminent wave engulfs the rest of Europe.

warning - choo choo I'm a train 8)

I think you guys missed something obvious. The condition only works if the victory can't be achieved, IE if it's impossible for people to move against each other, not if seven people want to win together. Otherwise the game could end before it started.
