Besides the obvious ones, such as the youkai that already are, in fact, based heavily off of animals...

You're welcome to be as specific as you'd like, and props to you if you can explain your reasoning~ :3

Yuyuko would have to be a swan. The gracefulness of each of them match perfectly.

Yuugi with her hair and roars always reminded me of Lions. Like that "majestic side" of lions that the Tv likes to show off.
Do I get extra points if I say when I think about Kisume I also do remember electrode? :/

Seiga disregards others and breaks as many rules as she can. However, she is always hiding behind her powers and familiars. For this reason I say she's a crab. A hermit crab.

Oh, and Sakuya is a doge too, except a loyal dog. What did people call doge Sakuya again?

Suika would be a drunk goat.
Miko would be an Owl.
Medicine would be a moth.
Eirin would be a dolphin.

Also your question reminded one of the biggest deceptions from my childhood. Following this logic Suwako would be a red panda :V
