Touhou Youtube Partnership?! HELP!!

I recently released an animation I made on youtube, and it has been a hit!!
If you havent seen it, here's the link:

It's been so good in fact, that Youtube has offered to partner the video, to which I can get paid for!
But obviously there's a problem. Chen is featured in the video, and I obviously dont own Chen. The concept of Nyan cat is not copywritten, I dont believe, so thats not a problem.

I dont know what to do. It's not likely I can contact ZUN and ask his permission, lthough, nor do I think he would sue me for this... >_>

What do you guys think?

Youtube asks for a partnership for any video that gets like 5000 views. It isn't for everyone. It isn't even for some. This shouldn't even have to be asked; unless you need money for making your videos and they turn out to be incredibly (incredibly) popular, there isn't a reason to have a Youtube partnership at all.

I have a couple videos one with over 60k and another nearing 130k views, but they're both re-uploads from nico, so I can't possibly make money from them honestly. And I'm an honest person so.
