Title: SA and UFO windows don't appear [SOLVED]

When I try to run SA and UFO in windowed mode (in any resolution), the game runs normally but the game window won't appear, even though I can see it by using the Window Switcher and in the window preview (holding the pointer over the taskbar box).

Running Vista 64-bit.

What hardware specs are you running?  Have you made sure your videocard drivers are the most recent?  Also, did you install the updated version of DirectX 9 (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en)?

I updated both DirectX and mu video drivers and the problem is still there.

BTW, has anyone else experienced this problem?

I have. Did you try reinstalling the game, btw this happens to GFW and DS too.

Just reinstalled UFO and windowed mode now runs perfectly. Thanks for the help!
