Can somebody help me?
My Double Spoiler runs really slow, ehat can I do about it?
-
Run Speccy (http://www.filehippo.com/download_speccy/) and paste a link to the results here.
-
I swear I fixed this with Fairy Wars and UFO, I think I did something in custom.exe
-
Can you still run Speccy? That would help, a lot.
-
so, basically just run spsetup110.exe, and copy the results here?
-
Yep.

You run spsetup110.exe to install Speccy, and then afterwards, you run Speccy, and paste the results in here(With a print screen or a copy and paste)

whoops, sorry. I'm Hungarian.
Don't know what szerv?zcsomag is in english, sadly.
-
also, 60 fps is the normal for touhou games, right?
-
Szervizcsomag 3 probably means Service Pack 3.
And yes, touhou should always be at 60 fps.
-
Your system doesn't seem bad at all, and should be more than adequate for running Touhou games. Maybe there's something else that's slowing stuff down. Is your system possibly overheating? When was the last time you cleaned out your heatsinks and fans? At first glance it looked like your CPU was at 42C which is pretty normal, but you might want to take a look inside your case anyway. Also, make sure all of your drivers are up to date, and that nothing weird is running at the same time.
-
well, It is fine with every other touhou game. as I said earlier, I had these problems with UFO and GFW, but I somehow fixed that. I mean, it can't be that this single game (+TD demo) is so exceptional that it needs more "advanced" technology than others.
-
Oh! Did you make sure you upgraded to the version of DirectX that comes with the later games? This is important. You can download the latest version here (http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/en/details.aspx?FamilyID=2da43d38-db71-4c1b-bc6a-9b6652cd92a3&displaylang=en).
-
dxdiag.exe says that I have DirectX 9.0
is that enough?
-
Yes and no. Touhou runs off of directx 9, but the later games need a directx dll that came out later, and is possible to install with that installer Momiji linked. I'd run that and see what happens.
-
meh, nothing dramatic change, still 40 fps.
-
Have you checked what programs might be running at the same time? Also anything using the videocard's capabilities for anything, like any fancy themes (I know XP doesn't have Aero, but it's good to simplify your desktop theme anyway).
-
Try updating the AMD Catalyst drivers. That might be able to address the issue.
-
also, how can I open custom_e.exe?
-
By.....Clicking on it?
Pardon my confusion, I'm not sure what you're asking.
-
Ah. Besides the obvious answer of clicking on it, many people have trouble opening the new custom.exe's. Try right clicking on it, choose properties, and under compatibility, change it to compatibility mode for Windows 2000. That might make that work if it didn't before.
-
AAHHHHHH!
I KNEW IT!
sorry, I'm just really happy. I knew I did something in custom.exe
I changed the input latency for stable, and TADA! DS runs in normal speed!
Thanks for the help!
