Title: Touhou PoFV - Adonis doesn't work well [SOLVED]

Hey there  ;),
A friend and I tried to play PoFV against each other, that worked but It was very laggy.
Then we both tried it with Adonis, but then we found a really annoying problem..
When we double click on the Adonis file, the cmd shows and closes immediately.
We tried to run it in 98 mode, didn't work, then we tried it with Applocate and 98 Mode, didn't work as well  :wat:.
Then I found something about it, to fix that problem, I created a shortcut to the Adonis file and put "C:\WINDOWS\system32\cmd.exe /K"" before the Location of it.
The cmd didn't disappeared anymore but then we got a new problem,
the cmd should look like this:

But we both get this:

I didn't found anything that could help us with this problem, may we did something wrong or something like that :?
I am using Windows XP and my friend is using Win7, and we both got v1.50a of PoFV.

so I hope that you guys may can help us, I've played PoFV before and I know how awesome the Multiplayer is  :V.

Hmm, I see. I went off and tested this just now and had the same problem. (Windows 7 32 bit) Compatibility mode didn't work either.

However, I think I may know what the issue is. What is the name of the Touhou exe file? It looks like to run this correctly, you need the exe named th09 (Japanese one) or th09e (for the english patched one). Then run adonis for the Japanese one, or run adonise for the English one.

For some reason was my th09 (Japanese one) was named th09e and the other (English one) was called th09.... :blush:, it works now for both of us.

Hm. We did came further and now adonis will start up and we can actually put in al those things, and th09e even starts up automaticly for him. But, for me everytime when he is finished and he gets the game screen, nothing happen for me. No th09e screen or something else.  :ohdear:

What do you mean? When you're trying to start a match or when it's ending? It wasn't very clear.

Well, we both start up adonise. Then I chose client and he server. And everything is good, but when the PoFV is suppose to pop up, it doesn't do that for me. But my friend his PoFV IS popping up automatic.

EDIT: Oh, my friend found the sollutions. I didn't had the uhm... "compabiliteit" of adonise on Windows 98. So it works now..
