Hello everyone,
this is your average Finnish university student speaking. Or would be, if something hadn't snapped two years ago as I suddenly got an urge to be creative, and started drawing stuff (and making music some time after that). Drawings that were in the beginning just anime-influenced, but have gravitated more and more towards the touhou-end of the spectrum as time has passed (as have my other activities). So, maybe this is just your average touhou nerd speaking. Whatever.
Anyway, this forum here seemed like a rather nice community, so I finally overcame my shyness and decided to start posting my stuff on the net. And I decided to make this big, shiny thread of mine to boot to give me a good reason to update at least somewhat frequently. I don't have a scanner at home (but there are good ones at the university), so updates might come clumped together, but it would be nice to post at least something every week.
Let's hope this turns out all right!

I personally find these two to be... a bit silly. But I'm currently working on some stuff that uses an actual, quality synthesizer and has at least the potential to sound pretty interesting. We'll see about that.
So that's it for now, next I'll have to create something new to keep this thread alive. Actually, if you found this interesting, I could listen to your art requests. Maybe that will give me inspiration.

I'm no expert in music, but here goes:
The Rise of the Nuclear Conqueror is good (I love the guitar, or whatever it is), but I believe that the metal percussions are too overpowering. The drums are just right, but the metal percussions are too distracting. I love the accents and the alarm sounds, and the other sound effects and stuff.
Maybe I could learn a thing or two from you. :3

And there's also the piece I did for the periodic artist challenge, I guess I'll post it here too. The aim was to create a one minute long happy version of Dark Side of Fate. At least it is peppy... as for enjoyable, you can decide on that.

Yooo amigo, sorry I didnt notice this thread earlier for some reason xD The pictures are all drawn well enough (especially dig the reimu jump) And the music, while I agree its pretty goofy, it's also got alot of interesting effects. So good job!
