I got a new Asus laptop yesterday, and was surprised to find that for some reason, it doesn't accept the input of Shift + Z + X; so if you're playing a Touhou game, you can't bomb if you've got both focus and fire on (which I do 99% of the time I'm bombing). I checked a bunch of different Asus laptops in a store and they all had this problem, so I'm assuming it's a issue with the way that Asus wires their keyboards or something.
I'm mainly pointing this out to other people that might be getting a new laptop soon rather than looking for help myself (though if anyone has suggestions I'm open); seems like the best workaround is to use 3rd party remapping software like autohotkey to switch the keys to something that don't have this problem, or maybe use an external keyboard, though both of these are less than optimal.

It's not just ASUS, a few of my older HP laptops have the same issue.

On a related note, my Sony laptop won't let me move top left or bottom left. That's a much minor issue, however.

Yay for keyboards with crappy rollover. I have an Asus Gaming-series laptop and I can't go down and left/right at the same time. The only real solutions are to either use either an external keyboard or a game controller.
