Just curious what ever happened with Gensokyo or whatever the motk guild was called for this mmo shmup? Anyways I've started a MOTK guild called Kero9Destiny or MOTK (if not taken) for anyone interested in playing feel free to join

I played VS for like one day, got to level 5 and gave up. Wasn't bad. I'm just not terribly interested in playing a mmo atm.

I quit because this game was seriously harming my ability to play Touhou and arcade shmups competantly, thanks to the lack of difficulty, slow gameplay, and laggy controls.

The game totally needs a vsync patch.

There were indeed many changes that were pretty crummy, I don't really remember them atm other than the durability loss crap. I remember one patch was supposed to make it better, but it infact only made it worse. I had the maximum durability of my weapon go down by 5 points after just 2 repairs despite not having any game overs or whatever, wut.
That combined with nobody being online ever, I just quit..
The challenge of it is actually pretty decent once you get to 40+ though, but sometimes it's a cheap kind of challenge, like the enemies coming from the BOTTOM of the screen really fast without warning kind and such (which is especially bad if you're as solo archer like me). Quite annoying.
I also wasn't too pleased with how they decided to make labyrinth keys even MORE rare than they were in the beta. WTF would they make the coolest thing in the game even more exclusive? gah.
Then the real life cash thing started happening. Granted when I quit there wasn't anything game changing about it but I think the devs were hinting at some upcoming stuff that were IIRC.

I remember people were selling the cash items for in game money as well. :(

Yeah the prices of things got super wtf inflated pretty shortly afterwards.
