Title: Joint Touhou RPG..?

I was wondering if anyone is intrested in making a Touhou RPG/SRPG with me?

I am a beginner at this, though I could help when it comes to sprites, character portraits, story and the creative parts.

If you are intresting in using some RPG Maker, I might be able to help with the battles, items etc.

Anyone up for it? :V

IMPORTANT ANNOUNCEMENT!
Everyone who is intrested, please add my MSN(kaka.chan@live.se) and list when you're reachable along with your timezones. Oh, and add what you're good at(in terms of game-making) while you're at it.

I'm reachable at early mornings(From about 6 or 7 AM) and evenings(5/6 PM to about 10/11 PM). Swedens timezone(GTM/UTC + 1).

My plan was: "DON'T YOU GET ANY BIG IDEAS UNTIL YOU FIND YERSELF A PARTNER, OR ELSE YOU WILL BE DISAPPOINT."

Plan B is just brainstorm like hell.

I just know I want team 9 and Yuka in it..

Something like this?

In a plot to be the only umbrella-wielding pers..."thing" in Gensokyo  Yukarin decides to gap away Yuka, (she doesn't bother with Kogasa since she's an umbrella/not really a threat), into another dimension but things doesn't go according to plan and all she manages to "gap" away is a portion of Yuka's power which 'comes scattered over Gensokyo, (and little in the outside world and maybe even in some "close dimensions"), which reverts her to a kid. In order to take revenge and to regain her lost power she travels all over Gensokyo (and the outside world maybe). She might, somehow along the way, ..."employ"... the help of Team 9 along the way.

Yes. That is just... Yes.

Possible reason why she even picked team 9 up;
Cirno and co. had set out to pick a fight with the shrine maiden and the witch, when something suddenly smashes right into her and the rest of team 9. There is a bright flash of light, and when the player is able to see again, they have all grown slightly since they absorbed some of Yukas powers.
Yuka suspects that they have some of her power, but isn't powerful enough to get it back from them, thus she decides that she will take them with her to Yukari, in order to force her into getting her power back from the "idiots".

Though one have to wonder how long ago Yuka vas lvl. 1.

"I think they were called breasts. Apparantly they are a symbol of strenght!" (Actually true in 9 cases out of 10. That 1 case being Meiling.)

...First one has to figure out what her current lvl is.

And her main attack would be 萌風. Yes. Truly it would be 萌風~.

Somehow I can see Team 9 have an agenda of their own when they join Yuka. Mainly to acquire bigger brea...*cough*...more power.

And I just had an wonderful idea! Though it might be kinda spoiler-ish if it get accepted, so don't read if you don't wanna know.

The reason Alice looks grownup-ish now is 'cause she managed to steal some of Yuka's power in MS and when Yuka comes to take it back when she finds it out we are given the return of Lolice! Yes. Lolice~

I can't get the image of this Rumia, with folded arms while slightly bending forward, asking you if you're delicious out of my head. Not that I want to. I really don't wanna lose that image. Whatever drawfag that reads this must make a drawing of this in wallpaper-size.

This was a dialog on a forum and thus not really helpful. It would be best for both of them to talk this out and plan everything via an Instant messenger or something like that, so they can later show the final product (or an early demo) here and ask for help.

Zun would probably have some kind of spell card like Alcoholic Sign "The true powers of a God" And use Loli danmaku to kill everyone :V

Just because person A can beat person B, it doesn't necessarily mean person A is more powerful than person B... Kanako was just Suwako's weakness...

honestly... make both of them fight someone weak against earth/metal and strong against air and see kanako lose...

Anyway... OP... what are you going to do in the Touhou RPG? Do you make the Plot, do you know how to draw... do you know how to make a RPG to begin with? =.=

I'm all in all for the making the plot... but we need music, art and sprites DX

I think I know how to draw o.o' I've been to like two drawing classes, I'm going to the advanced class in a few weeks.

RPGs, um... Using an RPG maker, I would probably be able to, but otherwise not really :V *Derp*

It's RPG Maker. You don't NEED to script if it's just a simple game you want.
 Sure, you can download some scripts on the internet anyway.

I'm making a Touhou-Alice in Wonderland RPG right now, and so far, it only has one custom script.

Pleeeeease don't try to start game projects if you're not willing/able to do any of the programming or you don't already have somebody who's agreed to do it for you.

Rika's Garage is for games in development. Please don't post until you've determined it will be feasible to actually make the game.
