Title: Favourite depiction of Touhou Characters?

Pictures/Reasons are not required, but definitely a plus if you want to put your message across.

I have a rather deep-set obsession with Chiyuri, unfortunately she always seems to be outshined by Yumemi.

I'm really fond of this portrayal (http://safebooru.org/index.php?page=post&s=view&id=104303) of her though.

I completely adores how Aozora Market depiction of the Scarlet sisters. Remilia fits perfectly the notion I have of her while Flan comes pretty damn close. Plus, the drawing of them are pretty good. Special props to Scarlet and Scarlet doujin.
I also like Tohonifun's Reimu, with her "apathy bordering disdain" attitude. Yuka is also nice
Kagero has my favorite interpretation of the Moriya Family, particularly in the doujin Kochiya-ke
Water Cushion's Kaguya and Eirin won my heart, although that Kaguya lacks a little insanity.
Either Advent Cirno or Because Cirno-chan is the Strongest win Cirno for me.
Akatsuki Dou's China also rules, although more her attitude than her back story. I don't want her to be nearly stronger than Remilia
Then there' Teddy-Plaza's Yukari in Tenkomori

And more I cannot find... oh, Marisa Alpha and Omega by Demour 402... at least physically :D

I’m also a fan of Tohonifun's depiction of Reimu. Infact, I didn't even like Reimu at all beforehand.

And after that, honestly I don't ready much doujin so some of my favourite artwork depictions are:

A good sense of authority here, and since she's the judge of the dead, she comes off as rather imposing (hence why I really dislike her midget depictions)

Basically every depiction that Pasteltel (http://danbooru.donmai.us/post/index?tags=pasteltel) does. I have a partiicular weakness for the artist's Momiji  (http://danbooru.donmai.us/post/show/639639/3girls-absurdres-comic-crossed_arms-friends-grin-h) depiction. (http://danbooru.donmai.us/post/show/633632/absurdres-animal_ears-blue_hair-comic-dog_ears-hat) There's something about aloof and unfazeable Momiji that's just great. :*  (Danbo link warning)

The artist said they were trying to go for a ’refreshing/soothing older sister type character' (癒し系お姉さんキャラ).


Also, Iyokan's Suwako, and basically any of the more 'serious' portrayals of Suwako.

I also would like to add pretty much everything from Touhou Labyrinth. The personalities that everyone portrays as well as the art work. It's all very nicely done in my opinion. The only thing I don't quite like is Meiling's butt monkey status.

I generally like the canon representations best as they don't get too fluffy and tend to be more interesting. However I do like Marisa/Alice and I really liked the one doujin with Sikeiki judging Remilia. I thought that was really well done and almost felt kind of canon.

Personally, I really like Tasogare Frontier's art, such as in IaMP and UNL.  Also anything that puts a smirk or other kind of mischievous grin on Marisa's face agrees with me.  I'll hafta do some digging to remember specific fanon artist names I like.

Also, everything in PMiSS just feels right to me.
