So, I've gone and revealed that I can do a pretty good Lord Tenma impersonation (according to my buddies in Ventrilo and some of my co-workers).

I lack the funny talent necessary to come up with a suitable Touhou Parody of the 'Ladies, look at your man' routine. If someone else can script it up for me, and possibly provide me with a good recording program (besides basic Windows bundled crap) that's intuitive to use - and most importantly, free - I'll take a whack at it and post it here for all to strike down enjoy.

I just need something to do to occupy my time that doesn't involve motor oil, massage therapy, or Florida. Please help me entertain myself by entertaining you.

To be fair I had IP for helping with the Library pre-April 1st, but never actually asked for it back.

Also, that Sana Spice could work if I weren't doing Lord Tenma, but instead maybe Lady Tenma :v

So far it seems like the Sana Spice one is gonna win out - the rest of 'em don't capture the entire commercial :v

Also, need a decent recording program. I have a decent-quality microphone already, but the only sound-capturing program I have at the moment is Ventrilo, and Ventrilo doesn't record/save things.

Wavepad is my favorite, it has the most options for background noise removal.  Audacity's function always makes me sound like I'm underwater.

A lot of people's could be improved if you stick to the timing and emphases from the commercial itself.  It's surprisingly well-crafted.  Or not so surprising; Old Spice seems to put a lot of thought into making their commecrials as wacky as possible.

I think we'll need to do more than one anime anyway, since there's already quite some interest and the majority of people haven't even seen those plans here yet (especially all the Americans).

If that goes on we'll have quite a large cast soon~

Have you set the microphone volume to max in the windows settings as well? Or run the Windows mic-configuration?

I had the same problem at the start, but after some messing around with setting it now records well.

It's definitely not you... the mic I recently bought is CRAZY sensitive.  The headset I used for Vent before?  Had to have it on full blast to get anything.  Could be hardware, could be software.

Also if you crazy kids are serious about trying to redub an animu may I suggest Angel Beats?  It's a mostly male cast so yeah.

My own challenge contribution will occur once I'm back from a career fair today  :3

Hmm...

It seems I'm a bit late to the party in more ways than one. Still, I said I'd be back so I'm back regardless so that's gotta count for something, right?

Anyway when I randomly pick songs that tend to spark my interest most like "I get a kick out of you" and "Fly me to the Moon" are ones that Sinatra apparently didn't sing first, so I'll just settle for a song he's accredited with popularizing (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4zoX5HgTJwM).

Weelllll, I was kinda working on it for the better half of the week you do realize 'cause I needed to clear the necessary story data on easy mode, which is a resort I'd have rather refrained from if I hadn't a good reason and soooooomebody wanted lyrics. I can hardly be blamed for picking a good song now can I? Besides you know the old adage, 'great minds think alike.'

Speaking of which, nice ad-lib with the word Danmaku in Alice Jean MJP, it fits in quite nicely, although I'd have left the word dodge in since it'd mentally read "dodge the curtain fire." Others are so-so but I know how repetitive the source materials can get without a little spice. You'd think these legendary artists would know how to avoid broken record styled repetitions but meh, I personally couldn't argue that time around...

Concerning suggestions do you want titles suggestive as to what the content should be like "Nice 'n Easy" > "Take it Easy" or just untainted requests? I could provide one, the other, both or neither if you wish.
