Title: Who has the best head accessories?
Post by: Ghaleon on May 08, 2010, 09:03:37 AM: Title says it all, what are your faves? No limit, if you want to name 20, go ahead.
feel free to mention other accessories you enjoy.

Reimu: Hers is pretty awsome I must admit. the bigger the better. Fushigi no gensokyo for example features it being huge, and it's great. It's cute, feminine, and not gaudy somehow. I hate gaudy, so I'm kinda over-sensative about it normally.

Mokou: Pretty similar to Reimu's, the above applies except I haven't really noticed such a size fluctuation, so I can't honestly say I like it bigger. Come to think of it. Cirno's is pretty similar too, I've never liked Cirno's once though..weird, never disliked it either though.

Patchy: I don't like the cap itself much. But the little moon, the blue and the red tags, the bowties holding the hair in front of her, and sometimes, the bowties on her shoes. Honestly, talking about it sounds ridiculous, but it looks good.

Remi: Her cap is similar to Patchy's, and I rather dislike it honestly. But I love that giant bowtie thing on her back.

Youmu: hers is relatively simple. I don't like her outfit much in general, but that black ribbon thing on the side is a plus. without it, she'd probably look like a he.

~~Yuyuko~~ : worst head accessory in the series IMO.. UGH.. She's probably the most attractive otherwise IMO.

Kaggy: The ribbon on her chest (flat or not) is cute

Hina: Awsome hair ribbon...nuff' said.

Sanae: I don't like Sanae much, but that frog it super cute, the snake is hard to notice without specifically looking for it, so I'm pretty neutral about it.

Kanako: I'm not a big fan of the rope thing so much as the leaf, which I rather like. The both combined sums up to be a positive thing.

...I don't hate Suwako's hat but I don't like it either...*GASP* Except with her mega-cool deal with it animated Gif, her hat makes hers the absolute best ever.

Satori: (this sounds like bs but it's honestly how I feel), it adds a great contrast to her personality and expression.

Orin: I hate animal ears, hate hate hate. but in game, seeing her cat ears flop about while she has ordinary ears too. It's pretty funny.

Utusho: Sometimes I don't like it, other times I do.

As for hats, I like Renko's simple, yet snazzy hat. I'm not terribly fond of many of Touhou's over-the-top hats to be honest, though Suwako's is an exception.

I haven't really seen pc-98 art enough to really decide about them yet. But her ribbon seems to be in the same boat as Reimu's and Mokou's if you ask me (sometimes Utusho). Which is nice, I like the big hair ribbons myself.

Keine is not bad, but I don't like it, one too many of them have poofy Remi like hats. Sanae in this case is my favorite one, a simple frog pin makes a girl's cuteness standout than a large ribbon imo.

Edit: I say all this knowing that everyone in Gensokyo has pretty unusual headgear of course. Something about those wraps do it for me, I guess.

Sometimes when I see people wear stuff that happens in anime or whatever IRL, it looks weird). It took a great deal of discipline to refrain from gushing enough adorations about it to make her scared of me as a stalker or someone creepy >=P

Actually, Suwako's hat is plain boring. Weirdness is how Reimu's hair ribbon/bow stays up without getting affected by gravity.

I love Meiling and Patchy's hats too. Meiling has a badass star on it while Patchouli has a kickass moon on it. And the color and design of the hats compliment their outfits.

And Hina's hairstyle and ginormous ribbon are adorable too.

Remilia's mop hat, it's big and frilly, unlike Flan's which is small and poofy.

Oh and Tenshi's! Those peaches with a combination of black gives of awesomeness, and I want to nom on her yummy looking blue hair, too.

Edit: Although I'd probably name Shiki to be tied with Amakasu Barley Tenji if he counts as a valid choice. You just can't argue with a bouncin' fro~

If I had to pick one to actually buy IRL though, it would probably be Koishi's. It might actually be wearable!
