The only one which works is 4 years old...and it's extremely hard to play God Hand with it.
With so much hand movement involved(you need both analogs and action buttons, and you switch between them extremely often) the controller gets too sweaty and dashing(forward twice) often results in my finger completely slipping off(and getting hit for like 50% HP before I get control back)
I already had to remove the rubber from the sticks because it was pretty much perfectly smooth from all the playing and it was already hard to play with that(not to mention that there was a lot of grease under the sticks for some reason)
Are old controllers less resistant to sweat for some reason? Should I get a new one?
(it's also cracked ever since I tried Dante Must Die, the circle button is completely worn out and it's already greasy to begin with)

The only games I play on the PS2 are shmups, so the only thing I've got to say on the subject is that the D-pad is much better than a keyboard.

Now I'm not sure whether the hands make the controller greasy or the controller is so greasy that it goes on my hands :V

I'd say just get a new controller, especially if it's already half-broken anyways. My hands get sweaty whenever I enter the Xtreme Videogames Zone but I've never had the controller escape my grasp mid-level or anything. Your controller sounds gross.
ps. fuck yeah god hand suplex mooks erryday
