Real Time Strategy projectile fighter
Touhou Daze of Lackadaisical Days
Formerly known as Megamari Battle Network.
Premise: the worst possible incident has hit Gensokyo. Everyone suddenly has too much spare time. The world is falling into chaos as a result. Several of the more experienced residents meet at Reimu?s place to discuss how to resolve this incident. The solution, a danmaku battle tournament to allow everyone to have stuff to do.
Players move and attack on a 7x14 grid. Each player can move on their 7x7 square.
Each character has several attributes
Name-what they are called
Health-when this number hits zero the player loses
Action-action points are used to use skills and attacks. When both players AP is zero the round is over.
Speed-How fast the player moves
Base Attack-basic attack, often involves projectiles
Passive Skill
Cards- Each player has 20 cards
9 skill cards
3 tactics cards
4 spell cards
4 trap cards
Player can set 5 cards per round.
Skill cards-A set skill the character can use. There often involve numerous projectiles.
Tactics cards-these cards change the characters base attack and passive skill.
Spell cards- a significantly more powerful attack that costs a full turns AP.
Trap card- active for one round these cards set traps to be triggered by some action.

Projectiles Specifics
Projectiles have several properties
There are primary properties which determine the movement pattern of bullets
and secondary properties which help determine behavior.
A bullet's priority ranges from 1-4. Naturally a 4 has higher priority than a one, but the priority just determines how manhy priority hits a bullet takes.
For example a priority 2 bullet is hit by a priority 1 bullet. The priority one bullet is destroyed, but now the priority 2 bullet will be destroyed by the next priority 1 bullet.
In this was a level 4 can be destroyed by repeated blocking bullets.
List of primary properties
Linear-down single lane
split-down lanes to the sides of the character
cross- diagonally outward from character
plus-vertically and horizontally outward from character
nova-spreads in all direction outward
wide-down 3 lanes
Secondary properties
pierce
blast-bullet explodes
types include cross, plus, and nova
bomb- clears otheer bullets regardless of priority
targeted- targets enemy square
moves-user moves as well

Base Attack: Mage Bolt-Chargeable linear projectile. level 1 charge yields a cross burst. Level 2 charge yields a nova burst.
Passive: Skill Bracer- character will not flinch when using skills even if hit by enemy attacks.
Reimu
Max HP: 140
max AP: 60
Speed: 3
Base Attack: Card Barrage, first shot linear second split, third wide.
Passive: Critical Power+
Nazrin
Max HP: 90
max AP: 100
Speed: 4
Base Attack: Fan of Knives-cross & plus spread of kunai
Passive: Reversal- All Attack damage = % of HP lost x 2 + 0.5
Suwako
Max HP: 70
max AP: 140
Speed: 3
Base Attack: Quench-randomly spews 4 water drops into three lanes in front.
Passive: Frogsong-Upon death frogsong revives character at 30HP
Orin
Max HP: 130
max AP: 60
Speed: 3
Base Attack: Cone of flame. a come of flame hits single space in front and 2x3 space after it
Passive: Necromancy-every 3 seconds, character summons 1 undead fairy adjacent to Orin

I eagerly await the day my programing skills reaches the level of my game design skills so I can test these out faster.
Currently it's hard to test these ideas.

You know that is the deal with game design in general. Anyone can have a nice idea or some kind of concept for a game. But ideas don't suffice to get a game off the ground. Neither it will give you chance of getting people to build it for you. On the internet, as a solo person, nobody will build something for someone unless there is a value in there for them.
Rika's garage is not a dump place for 'ideas on paper' that never get executed. I am somewhat seeing lately more and more such threads appear with 0% core. I am going to analyse the threads and think of a possible solution for these incidents.
