Title: IaMP recordings lag.
Post by: nintendonut888 on February 19, 2010, 03:14:13 PM
For some reason, when I try to record a replay of IaMP, the video is about 5 seconds out of synch with the sound. Is there any way to fix this? I use Fraps, but I think it happens with Hypercam as well.

You sure it's not the video player that is lagging the playback? I get that all the time with raw .AVIs.

How odd. I recorded it again to see, and it came out lagless. However, part 2 of the split video was corrupted (fucking Fraps). So I recorded again. This time, both parts came out intact, but video 1 had the familiar lag. Part 2 though? Completely fine. o_O With some clever editting I think I can make this into one coherent video.

Now the question hangs "do I want to go through the headache of trying to record the rest of my IaMP lunatic 1cc?"

Just be happy you didn't get the all-too-common replay desynch which ruined stages 5 and 6 of my lunatic 1cc.  :V

So for once I solved my own problem. For whatever reason, the replay desynchs if you start recording after starting the replay. If you start recording a second or so before beginning, it comes out synched. :S
