This thread is to serve as an official public call-out of Donut after IRC drama earlier this afternoon and some lengthy discussion tonight.
Donut, you stand accused of two repeated social conduct offenses. These charges are levied by some staff members, as well as many other forum members that have expressed concerns both in private and in public. People talking to you in private has not worked, so we go the last resort available - public call-out. I am not happy we got to this point, but so it goes.
Your two offenses are as follows.
1) The unwillingness to attempt anything that requires effort on your part to set up. Cited incidents include TSO having to drag you through the process of uploading a video to YouTube with you digging your heels into the ground the entire time, Matsuri's attempt to help you set up MAME ending in him simply giving you everything already set up so you didn't have to lift a finger, and the recent AIM account debacle. You claim you have zero knowledge of how to follow step-by-step instructions. You have demonstrated a lack of desire to even try these things on your own, opting instead to maybe tool around for two minutes before deciding the activity is not worth your time and asking someone else to do everything for you. The aforementioned TSO and Matsuri have both told stories about this attitude. This needs to stop. You are not entitled to someone helping you at every turn if you do not put an honest effort into it yourself. One particular instance of this rampant egotism was on display this afternoon in IRC, where you claimed you should be able to expect people to set up an AIM account for you because you didn't really want to get one in the first place. This segues into the second charge, but I'm going to take a quickie detour first.
If you had no desire to get AIM, you should never have made the commitment in the first place. The instant you opened your mouth and promised that you'd get AIM when Ruro completed StB the onus was on YOU to make sure you got it set up properly. Not your friends. Saying something to the effect of "sure I'll get AIM when this happens" and then saying something to the effect of "okay who's going to set up AIM for me?" after the conditional event happened is a supreme dick move and if anyone actually tolerated it I sympathize with them. That is not how you treat friends.
2) The insatiable desire to be the center of attention. This goes from complaining about/putting down the Touhou accomplishments of others to trying to keep the focus of the various social topics on yourself to complaining about special forum titles until you got your Gensokyo Baker title to trying to hijack the focus of IRC discussions onto yourself to even outright hijacking threads so that they focused on yourself such as what you did in HakureiSM's "1K GET" thread. You are not the most important person on this site and you need to stop acting like you are. Multiple people have complained about your social thread hijacks in particular. This needs to stop immediately. Putting you in the Reply Only usergroup was supposed to give you a clue that you need to be a lot less "me me me me me", as was asking Ruro multiple times) to tell you to cool it, but all any of this led to was you hijacking other threads into bringing the attention onto you instead of you simply making threads about you.

The following is a list of actions you are required to take if you wish to have any chance of ever being let out of the Reply Only usergroup you are currently a member of.
- You are to give an honest effort to set things up on your computer in the future. If you need to ask for help, make sure you have exhausted all possible options and be ready to provide a detailed list of what you have already attempted. If you have made an honest effort to do it yourself and shit just isn't working then help will be provided and no one will think less of you for it.
- You are to stop being negative in regards to any Touhou accomplishment that isn't yours. Being negative includes (but is not limited to) bragging about a better accomplishment, whining about how you couldn't do it or generally putting the accomplishment down on the whole. Either congratulate the person or shut the fuck up and move on. I encourage everyone that participates in those threads to start reporting anyone that behaves in this manner, Donut or not.
- You are to stop trying to be the center of attention in social threads. I encourage everyone that reads and partakes in these threads to report your posts if you go back to your attention whoring ways. If there is a conversation taking place, participate in it, and primarily aim to respond to something someone said instead of just jumping in for a "Well this is how I handle it" post before moving on to something else.
- You are to stop trying to be the center of attention on IRC, should Pesco ever deem it prudent to unban you. Again, if there is an existing conversation, join it. Do not start doing your own little thing focused on you in the middle of the current conversation. That is incredibly rude. Asking a quickie self-centered question and then joining in the existing conversation is okay, doing your damned to get everyone to pay attention to you is not.
- You are to stop trying to divert existing threads so that they focus on you.
- You are to stop taking childish measures against people that you feel slight you. Recent examples include pasting your PDF-in-Notepad garbage in Halbarad's PM window, your running around claiming that everyone that marked your UFO Lunatic run for cheese on Gensokyo has not cleared UFO Lunatic themselves (this is patently false, by the way), and you claiming that you were banned from IRC for "refusing to get AIM" (which, again, is patently false). This is immaturity of the highest caliber.
- You are to apologize to TSO for the supreme disrespect you showed her on IRC earlier today. Your efforts in trying to paint TSO as a bad guy and quitting in an attempt to garner sympathy for your cause were absolutely disgusting (and didn't fool anyone anyway).
- You are to give a big huge fucking thank you to Ruro because she's the only reason you got a leash as long as you did. I have already talked with her about this, and I have told her that you have run out of the chances she has granted you. You have no rope left: don't throw her efforts away.
If you make a genuinely committed effort to comply with these instructions and actually follow through, then you will eventually be removed from the Reply Only usergroup (and who knows, you might even get Gensokyo Baker back if we get caught in a cheery mood). If TSO, myself, the rest of staff or even the other forum members see you making zero effort to improve your attitude and behavior, then this may not be the website for you. I can say that I do not probate or ban for anything other than blatant rule violations, but I cannot say the same for TSO, and as she is in charge she is allowed to make whatever call she likes.
The court's floor is now open - people may offer whatever comments they like, and I will be glad to discuss anything that stays within the realm of reasonableness and rationality.

First, thank you for this thread. I have wanted to know exactly what you have wanted from me for a long time.
Second, I am sincerely sorry to TSO for seemingly disrespecting her the way I did. I will not go further into this until my third question is answered.
That third question being: May I openly question or offer explanations for my actions? I feel if I could share my thoughts I can reach a better idea of what to do.
And I have already thanked Ruro for this. I am in her debt.
In any case, I will do my best to follow this and have actually been trying for a while now. Anything else I have to say will await until you give the okay for me to explain myself.

I would have to agree on the part of the "Social threads" I don't think many people enjoy having that many threads centered about you. I think the social threads should be a place where members interact with other members and not "Interact with Donut thread."
The hijacking too can be mildly annoying for me, I tried to change the subject of such a thread a couple of times but I failed miserably.
I do not know what to say about the IRC thing because I was not there at the moment, but Donut you really have to stop thinking you are the best member here.
Also I promise to report Donut posts if they are probably going to hijack the thread~
And Kilga, what would happen if Donut will not change?

and here I was thinking I am bad or antisocial to avoid the social threads as it reeks of 'donuttopic101' so I guess I wasn't alone. No offense Donut, but really, it wasn't the best behavior to boot, though you were a fun guy because of it in a way but then we all must give way to some others you know.

Your honour, I would like to add some of my personal complaint here as well. Not to make his judgement heavier, but more like making him aware that there are more people who have their own opinions regarding this case.

On IRC the users killme2 and Helepolis have multiple times offered their aid in order to achieve High Definition movies on Youtube and various other forms of help regarding software and configuration. However, the guilty had promised and said repeatingly that he would commit and follow our advices in order to achieve the desired result.
Yet time after time he would show on IRC , acting if he suffered from amnesia, still asking the same questions over and over. Here is the evidence of him even posting inside the tutorial thread, made by Drake, where he says "if I got the time I will do this"

Well, I can say this. I had no idea I was annoying all of you to this extent. I am very aware now that my behavior to this point has been unacceptable and I am doing my best to change. Let me also state that if anyone has ever felt they were offended by something I said (and I know this has happened to multiple people), it has been completely unintentional. It seems I have a terrible way with words that regularly gives people the wrong idea of what I mean.
Lastly, can you believe that I had no idea I was being so egotistical? Until it was blatantly pointed out I really didn't notice. Now I'm ashamed of my actions. :(
Hell, maybe I'll just take a break from this board for a while and see if I can shape up then. I really don't want to be banned.

So, I'll just say/ask three things:
First, just like A-F, I was kinda wondering if I was doing the right thing by ignoring the social threads because I didn't feel like entering another 20-page Donut thread about absolutely nothing. Seriously, it was boring. I tend to find stupidity, rudeness, or any kind of behaviour that is not cool and/or nice boring. That applies to everything, even stuff like murder. Maybe my concept of boredom and as a consequence my general view of the world(in short "things would be much cooler and less boring if people just behaved properly like racional evolved beings") are weird, but I think they still apply. Seriously Donut, stop it. If you wanted to talk about you, you should've done like Mode, Slaves, etc. and created your own threads. Hey, first thing I found when I opened up Firefox today was "Rock band parties are lame", a nice way of telling something that happened, plus opening up a discussion about Rock Band.
Second, I came upon my name in the offense listing text. About that, I wanna first apologise for that stupid thread, because it was just meant to be a boring joke, which was wrong to start with, and even worse, sounded like I was some brat bragging around about uh.. post count. Letty was quick in locking that thread, and with good reason. It only made me feel bad about myself. Then I'd like to ask what again what was it that Donut said on that thread especifically, because after I started it I realised how lame it was and no longer paid enough attention to it.
And third, I have a complaint about this 'trial' thread here. It's way way way way too formal. Seriously, this is too much. Opressive even. If Donut needs to be punished, then that be done and period. If staff wants to discuss it with everyone else, even better, of course, and that's the way it should be. But seriously, we're all friends, and as long as we don't forget our positions(as in: HakureiSM=regular orange user, pay respect as such; Kilga=Global Mod, pay respect as such), there's no need for all this.

I've mostly been skimming this thread, I admit, but I'd like to point out that when things like this come naturally, you often need help 1. recognizing it and 2. figuring out what to do to "stop screwing things up."
This is basically why I wanted this to be an open discussion (though I dunno if I really had any effect on that) - so that Donut could get helped, not just punished. Whether it had to go on the forum, I'm not certain, but something like this could use an intervention, couldn't it?
On that note, Donut: I'm open to talking about this stuff if you're worried about it. I'm not much of a conversational expert so I'm not sure how much use I'll be, but it's something.
And yes, gentle reminders and advice are a good route to take from all parties.

I don't know exactly what happened yesterday on IRC that made the bucket overflow, neverless I noticed all those "donut threads" and actually I maybe posted one or twice in them for something random but aside from that I generally saw donut's posts appear.
Now I personally myself simply evade stuff that is too annoying or marked as "attention whoring". ( Post in this thread before you go to bed, a good example ). Everybody on CPMC is being an attention person from time to time ( even me ). We got something to show, or share or just to act goofy. But there is also common sense and that is general: Things are not funny when overdone. Be it a joke or just a thread or anything.
I guess concluding from Kilga's post Donut simply overdid it repeatingly and thus is being marked for it as it seems he was approached personally about this.
For me it is simple, people who are attention whoring in a negative way simply don't get my respect or help anymore in the future. Ofcourse people remain people and everybody makes mistakes.

On a related note: Sana, I assume you recall the horrors of trying to help Donut set up HydraIRC. Did he strike you as wanting you to do everything for him? Because that's how it felt to me, and it would be yet another example of the first point Kilga made.

Uh, no. You got AIM because that was the condition of your promise to me. It falls on you to complete it. What, my effort in StB has been wasted because you don't feel like doing everything you can to do your part of the promise? I don't mind people mocking my Touhou skills (heck, I like to do it myself), I mind people mocking my Touhou efforts, and it seems that you were saying "You know, Ruro worked her ass off to complete StB, but I don't care. Her efforts are worthless, and not worth the time for me to try and figure out AIM on my own".
Moreover, if you had even read my PMs to you, you would have seen that I never wanted you to get AIM at all. I wanted you to get the account and then use Pidgin (since it's an IM program that doesn't suck), but apparently that was too complex, and it shows that not only do you complain about not having your hand held through an elementary installation process (note: saying "I'm so clueless, I don't understand computer-related things" is attention whoring and a guaranteed way to get no sympathy), it shows that you won't even give the slightest inclination to following laid-out instructions.*
There are plenty of clueless people (like me, with DaimonTools) around who don't understand computers for their life, but they at least don't attempt to excuse themselves with "I don't care about learning" and then not even try to figure things out for themselves.
Back to my original point: No, you did not "cave in" to any "bitching about it". You were burdened with fulfilling a promise you had made to a friend, and then you decided to shirk it because it wasn't worth the equivalent effort.
You've told me before how to get the Vsync patch, and said that it required moderate effort, but that you had done it. In other words, you care much more about patching a Touhou game than fulfilling a promise to a friend-- or even putting forth any effort to do so.
In other words, that hurt me personally. I post this here publicly, not because I want to embarrass Donut (okay, maybe a little) but because grievances swept under the carpet are annoying. The truth must come to light, and I personally encourage anyone who has received this behaviour from you in the past to also step forth.

*If you hadn't managed to piss off people like Halbarad, by the way, he, or people like him who do tech support for a living, might have actually helped you. Guess that raises another point, but other people have already gone into that, so I won't bother.

To be honest, I did notice Donut's attention-grabbing behavior, and how he seems to be clueless of what he's doing. But I'm naturally very tolerant, so it doesn't strike me as much as it does to other people.

Well, my explanation for my behavior in IRC yesterday: Apparently by me quitting when I did I gave the idea that I was trying to make TSO look like the bad guy. My real reason was just as I said: I was in a place I had come to relax, and TSO calling me a douchebag made it no longer relaxing. So I left. I'm sorry if that implied anything otherwise.

I don't think I was on IRC / the channel it happened when this happened, nevertheless, if it's a call that serious, it must be responded.
Maybe I haven't been paying attention to CPMC's Donutness, but if lots of people are calling, then it has happened. Donut, I hope you shape yourself for everyone.
By the way, if you point out the problem when I drew Donut and he didn't notice because of the halo and etc, let me point that I wasn't offended in anyway. I just went "waaah lazy to draw that ;_;" out of sheer sillyness, not because I was offended.

What I'm surprised mostly is how Donut can't seem to do even some of the most simplest things himself, at an extent that the pdf-WMP incident can actually be taken seriously, and even now, I dunno if I can believe Donut into thinking that he was trolling or not. You will never succeed in life if you really are too dependent on other people.
I never payed attention to the Accomplishment threads, so I can't really comment on what happened there, but in the Social Threads it seems that others are really affected by his own accomplishments, and even back in summer some people in the Livestream Channel were also affected by this. I had a few people tell me personally about this.

...uh, wow. This makes me gladder still I usually stay out of CPMC. Honestly, I don't know how to handle that kind of arena; sometimes it seems no-holds-barred and next thing you know people are getting probated. My personal philosophy of foruming is much the same as life: Don't be an idiot and don't be an ass, and we'll all get along fine.
That said, my only real experience with Donut is in the actual game threads (Accomplishments, etc.). With my own limited perspective, I'd say that people might be overreacting - it always seems, as Donut put it, as "good-natured teasing" to me.

But that's exactly how I see it working here on CPMC, and one of the reasons I liked it sso much when I found it. There's a hell of freedom, as long as you don't step on someone else's foot.

I was not aware of the ongoing developments of this case as I usually tend to skip posts which do not currently apply to the topic at hand unless it was in the process or had already been hijacked by a majority of posters within that topic. This does explain why I hadn't seen him around here recently. As for the current state of affairs, I do not pity him nor show him any disregard. He may do as he pleases, and he will take full responsibility for his actions if what he pleases is not in the best interests of the commonwealth, as determined by those with the right and duty to hold him accountable. Sir Donut, I pray that you will take the right course of action for the duration of your stay, however long that may be. Explain your errors and try to clear things up, but by no means should you try too hard to cover up your mistakes; doing so will bring down the wrath you are trying to avoid.

CPMC is a place where, unlike the other parts of MotK, anyone can create and respond to topics that adhere to current posting standards (http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php?topic=17.0) and a usually unspoken code of honor that one learns over time. It is not a place to be dead serious, but it is also not a place to be a \b\tard. And as repeatedly voiced throughout this thread, it is unacceptable to be egotistical and/or over-powering or act in a way that may make you look as such. If you are out of line, you will not be instantly probated, snowballed, banned, or permabanned, unless your action was totally unacceptable. Just lurk moar, and you will understand.

Your attitude on IRC is horrendous. You weren't interested in going on until we basically did it for you, and the moment you come on you try to drag the discussion to you. If it's something you're not interested in you will proclaim this vocally and then bitch and moan until it is about something you like.

GIL wasn't walled at all; he moved too far to the left and clipdeathed. There was an entirely usable opening, and I can say that I've gotten through smaller on Vampire Illusion.

I can say a great many of those were me just acting big. They say sarcasm doesn't transfer well over the Internet, and this is a chief example. Stuff like "It doesn't involve me, it must suck" and "being angry at others for threatening my position" were all just me having a bit of fun. I'm not saying they're right, but that's what I believed I was doing. Still...you're right; my joking clearly did go too far, both offensive and to be annoying. All I suppose I can say is that I will stop these behaviors. However, one of those quotes in particular confused me:

The only thing I can see wrong with this is mentioning that I got through thinner openings on a similar spell card. I only mentioned it to prove a point.

Most of the assessments made by various people that watched the UFO Lunatic replay said hidden slowdown was very likely. Given Donut's history with computers, it's not out of the realm of possibility that this is happening by itself rather than through his actions.
Whether or not Donut cheats is not the point of this topic, however, nor is it why people here got mad at him. There is a reason it was not discussed at length in the original post.

This isn't a debate. You don't get to defend yourself and try to explain away your actions. This is literally just reference for you to realize how badly you treat others and how much of an asshole you are. This is a huge favor to you and if we really didn't like you or appreciate your company we wouldn't even be having this intervention.
Obviously being nice and addressing you in private wasn't getting through, so now the issue is open to the public eye.
HakureiSM: Shut the fuck up. This isn't a thread where we go through and pass judgement on him. You going "oh wow you really screwed up" isn't helping anything as I could probably point out dozens of annoying behaviors in you too. This is simply for people to list their grievances and issues with Donut, for Donut to witness what harm he has done and, if he so chooses to, to apologize and make amends.
This warning goes to everyone. Don't use this to belittle Donut or to pass judgement. If you have nothing constructive to add to the discussion then shut up and lurk. Bringing your opinion of Donut's behavior and antics is fine but going "you're in trouble" isn't.

But you need to realize it's not our responsibility to do this. Just being told "hey you're being an ass" should have been enough of a clue that what you're doing is wrong.
It's fine to go "ok I get the impression I'm being a dick, what am I doing wrong?" but you didn't even do that. You just assumed we were the problem and it was our responsibility to show you what you were doing wrong.
Your attention whoring has been called out more than a few times. This isn't remotely anything new. Yet you refused to do anything about it until you actually started seeing consequences, and even then you didn't think anything was wrong until this callout thread.
There's nothing wrong with having some ego and wanting to be the spotlight. The problem comes from when you refuse to share it and being very vocal about not getting it. Right now you are nothing, and you're going to have to reearn that respect.

going on. If you just stopped and tried to think how other people would feel before you go and say anything then that would be a good start. The problem is you almost always act defensive or indifferent to any sort of accusation or critisism.
This is more of an attitude thing than anything. I'm pretty sure most people know you have no bad intentions, but the way you express yourself does come off as extremely self-centered. For example in this very thread

We aren't attacking you and you aren't supposed to dodge. Everyone's just trying to show you what's wrong with your attitude. And although you can be as sorry as you want about it, if you don't change your attitude it won't make an ounce of a difference because you'll be bound to repeat the same mistake agian.
Remember, this isn't just about your actions, this is about your overall attitude. Changing it won't be easy, but you must make an effort to do so or else you'll face severe social consequences.
A good way to start is as I said before, try to walk in other people's shoes. Think. Why did Kilga make this thread? Why is TSO so pissed off at you? Why is even Ruro having fits of despair over your seemingly harmless actions? Forget about yourself for a moment. Forget about your dignity or self-image and just think. Imagine if everything you said was said by someone else (http://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=1090). And then you can begin not just to know, but to understand how everyone else is feeling.
Also just so you know this is all for your own good. If it wasn't, clearly you would have been banned a long time ago, but since you've been here for so long other people do care about you, but your attitude has simply got to change.

There's a problem with this. And it's not a problem with any of you, the blame is 100% on me. See, I have that lovely condition known as Asperger's Syndrome, which makes it difficult to pick up on these things. It has gotten me into problems that should not have ever happened for many years.
However, I'm not cowardly enough to hide behind it. Aspergers is a learning disability, not a retardation. Even if it makes it difficult to see these things, I'm certain if I try hard enough I can see the problems from both perspectives.
I guess the way to go from here is to thank you for giving me this chance to redeem myself. I will try my very hardest to think how other people feel from now on.

As much as I'd like to say something insightful and/or profound, I'm well aware that my general awareness of the social networking that goes on in these forums is almost non-existant. I'm not sure, nor do I really care, but I believe I've been tagged unfunny after my multiposting fiasco. I'm sorry if this starts out about me, but I just want people to understand my own point of view on this matter.
But my point is after that happened, I made a genuine effort to stop that as soon as you guys mentioned not liking it. There was no indication for me about this until very suddenly one day from many people acting less than civil about the whole ordeal. At the time I was rather upset about how it was handled (none of the mods really did anything wrong to me, for that I'm thankful, but alot of the regular users decided to publicly near-flame me), and it was difficult to be the "bigger man" so to speak (even though I wasn't really being bigger than anybody else in particular) and just stop without getting angry at anybody. I still feel grudged by some people, but whats done is done and all I can do is try to respect the forum-users wishes.
Now the post mentioned that people tried pming donut about this matter and whatnot. In which case that would be a good reason to escalate reactions. But I'd like some other people, who didn't take such measures, to really think about how to keep the criticism constructive. Some of you may doubt his sincerity in trying to adapt his behaviour to satisfy you guys, but you also have to understand he's probably hurt not because of the constructive criticism, but because of the deconstructive criticism as well. Donut was one of the quickest to forgive my multiposting problems, and I think it only fair that he's been given the chance of forgiveness as well.
As I said, I don't have a fraction of the social interactions most of you guys have, so I'm not going to tell you that you're over-reacting or anything. I'd just like some people to keep in mind though to try and give someone a chance because I honestly believe he'd do the same for you in return. I hope I don't make anybody upset by seemingly defending someone who apparently is on a shitlist atm, as I said, I'm not going to judge the response given to him as wrong or right.

People are going to naturally pass judgement, and there's nothing you can do to stop that. You get information about a person, you make a judgement. The point is not to 'pass judgement' in the sense of "Hey Donut is a bad person hahah" or "Damn Donut, sucks to be you". This isn't a 'bash Donut or be generally unconstructive' thread.
Having this open thread to list grievances as a step in the right direction, instead of doing it all in the private sphere. It involves general forum behavior and involves a number of people here, and those people out of the know are left confused, conflicted, or otherwise by not knowing what people are talking about when they fume about Donut.
I for one didn't quite notice this behavior until it was pointed out to me a while back, but now it seems painfully obvious (hindsight bias much?). Before, I saw Donut as "This guy who gets picked on by mods, apparently has a clique and his own social threads, and looks to be good at Touhou". Now that I'm not in the dark by finding out more info, things make a whole lot more sense.

Dude, Donut, I know you might not understand what it feels like to NOT be the center of the universe and the answer to everything that isn't 42; but seriously, those logs depict a very self-centered personality right there. I know for one thing, you can try to be funny by injecting sarcasm into topics, but for your case, in more than a few cases you were being a dick.
I understand the need for attention, I myself suffer from it (post counts), I also have it bad myself, but one thing for sure, you seemed to think that if the moment the world doesn't think the same as you, you failed as a human being. You are well liked by some, and some others who don't find you attractive as a poster/chatter surely will avoid you and your related contents, in many a time: you should think about the actions and repercussions of what you do.
Take for example, you post a NSFW picture, then after a while, you are bound to get probated for the stupidity.
Now, imagine this NSFW picture as being your attitude, for your case, you seemed to believe 'I have to do something to get more attention!' Thus in the end, you burn yourself like now. What the audience has thus far presented, IRC logs or whatever, is all clear signs of persistent lacking of self-control in that department. In one of the chat logs, Trance was talking about a game: and you came in and 'oh, it is not a game I like, it fails'. While the IRC chatroom surely has many people who LIKE to talk about you you you, the majority don't (I assume). There is for no reason, for you to be a dick.
Ok, so you didn't like this game, would it hurt you not to be vocal about it? No. You didn't like it, would it hurt you to not scream 'it sucked' before you played, analyzed in detail? No.
What I believe TSO is so pissed about is this persistent attitude, you have to status check on what you are gonna say. The way you say however is that 'now the world thinks I am evil' I call Karma on this, when you have everyone's eyes on you, for all your wrongs people are bound to judge.

Know what would help? Admit a mistake, and DO something to make it better. Open wounds don't heal on their own sometimes, you gotta mend the rift between this greater platform; if anything I'd say you are only reluctant, but I believe you can change.
There are drug addicts who reformed, your drug is the attention whore sort, and that is only one of them. You generally seem to portray being rude is fine, and that you don't realize it, but when people talk about it you get defensive. Don't explain away your problem, what you need is to face it and know that sometimes listening is better than talking.
