No lie, I was thinking of an idea for a game like this this morning!
Like how everyone wanted an underwater themed game, I thought, what if Gensokyo suddenly flooded, and all the underwater youkai came to the surface?
They even have the shrine as the first level, like I imagined!
Someone in Japan is inside my brain.

When we were all speculating about Touhou 12 the only things I could come up with were TOUHOUS IN SPACE and TOUHOUS UNDERWATER and now I want my Touhous to in fact be underwater.

Hm... If ZUN notices this, he'll just say "I'm not making the underwater game. I mean, you guys have the stuff already thought! Let me drink mah beer.". I could me wrong though.
As for the idea, an underwater game would be interesting, but is that video a teaser for a game or for a music album? (it doesn't sound a lot like underwater)
For an underwater game, I think that a gimmick that affected gameplay would be interesting.

That's why it's an Incident! Or maybe, a hidden underwater cave in Misty Lake connects to another sealed off world in the middle of an ocean. Or Kanako goes nuts, declare all residents of Gensokyo a sinner and floods it. Hijiri is Noah.
Who knows.

WTF?! There isn't a map of Gensokyo. For all I know there could very well exist at least part sea in it. Anyway, there is bound to be some underwater space, or how would Orochi live? ::)

Wow, I love this game. The stages are long, which is a nice change. And I like the stage 3 theme a lot.
Holy balls the 4th stage boss has a monocle, a pipe, and a shell on her head.

I really, really like the 4th boss' gimmick. Also, the 5th boss' Bubble-gimmick is nice too. Too bad, there's no 6th boss yet.
And too bad as it only runs with 20-10 FPS on my pc.

I do like what I see so far, even the H2O system which is like 13761387443061 years old. Love the fourth boss' gimmick especially, but up to now I can see quite a few design problems and annoyances, just stuff that just isn't right for them to do, nevertheless not being very ZUNlike in design (although this is just my problem, it doesn't really matter).
Also I'm happy that a game as popularized as this one has music that I can trump. Confidence booster, hell yes.

Stage 5 boss's survival card is ridiculous >_>

I really hate how unforgiving the 5th boss's circles are... Even if they're in a 2x2 pattern, if I even slightly touch the area in the middle I die, forcing me to have to stay perfectly within the overlapping parts of the circle. Doesn't help that her survival card makes messing that up that much easier...
