Title: Some sort of advance warning: Touhou and Windows 10

I'm going to be getting a laptop with the Windows 10 operating system. Is there any special procedures that I need to take to install Touhou onto Windows 10?

Well there is this thead (https://www.shrinemaiden.org/forum/index.php/topic,20779.0.html) a few posts down. e: which seems to have been resolved by simple reboot so I guess it's not really helpful.

You'll need to install DirectX 9 (http://filehippo.com/download_directx/) to get Touhou games (and other PC games) to work in general.
For Touhou 6-9.5, you'll need the DX8 to DX9 converter (https://en.touhouwiki.net/wiki/Game_Tools_and_Modifications#DX8_to_DX9_converter) to avoid fullscreen issues and fix other weird bugs.
