I wasn't sure if I should just ask a question on the questions thread, but do you guys have any suggestion for how to create a normal Touhou game in Processing?
It's for my school programming class, and I was wondering if there was anyone well versed in Processing or people that could point me in the right direction of how to create a proper bullet hell game modeled after Touhou.
Ideas are also welcome, whether it be a suggestion to recreate one of ZUN's games, or if it would be to use certain objects, or even tips on making it original but still similar to Touhou.
Thanks!

I haven't used Processing much and my only attempt at making a game with it ended at just making a circle move around. (I should probably expand that maybe) The tests from when I took an online course on it showed that it could handle many objects, but I don't know if it will have similar performance when there's also everything else that goes into a game going on in the background. I think that it's probably better to start with Danmakufu instead, since there are probably more people here that know it more, and a lot of the concepts could be used in Processing I think. (I haven't used Danmakufu a lot either, so I might not be the best source for such information.)
EDIT: Here's a link to that course I took some years ago: (it's not going on right now, but still) : https://www.futurelearn.com/courses/creative-coding
