After seeing an official Batman/Ninja Turtles crossover comic being made, I've decided to make this topic.
If ZUN wants to make an official Touhou crossover, what series do you think makes a good combination with it?

Any series would be good. Pacific USN Ship Girls would be my personal #1, although it would be hilarious to see ZUN take a jab at Fifty Shades of Grey.

Maybe not series, but Ikamusume could drop into Gensokyo tomorrow and fit right in.
Basically any moe anthropomorph series, really, considering Touhou draws from the same well. Though I couldn't see something like Strike Witches or KanColle working, whether due to commercialism or lewdness.
Doraemon or practically anything Ghibli. I think the slice-of-life and matter-of-fact fantastical nature of either would mesh. I think either are really the closest in media to matching what Touhou goes for. Or rather, either could be a major influence on Touhou.

The Neverending Story. Seriously I have no idea why no fan fiction of it has ever been done before. There are so many parallels it is not even funny.
Also the Touhou series itself references Alice in Wonderland. Maybe Alice Margatroid having some tea with Alice Liddell could prove interesting.

Puyo Puyo is the only thing I can think of with the same general range of interesting character designs and goofy dialogue.

Heroes of the Storm.
Someone in Blizzard is a Touhou fan. There's a quest in WoW called "A Tiny Clever Commander" that involves killing a Commander Nazrim. And there's the Curtainfire family (Remma, Marcy, Sana, & Rinno) in Winterspring.

1. Supernatural (TV series), Sam and Dean wonders to Gensokyo with their Impala. I want to see their reaction upon the unspokable rule of Human-Youkai nature relationship in there.
2. Hellblazer, same as Supernatural. But rather slaying Youkai left-and-right, John Constantine, the main character, will actually might pull some crazy con-job that shaken the balance of the realm (and probably dragging out Yukari in the process).
3. Raidou Kuzunoha series, witness the powerful summoner casting demons that actually more powerful than the Youkais.

Doctor Who, because the series can be nearly any genre it pleases. The episode title can be something like "Doctor in Wonderland".

Inside Out. Considering its premises, it can be crossed over with practically any franchise.

The Sealing Club can easily cross over with Elder Signs and Eldritch Horror, seeing that Renko and Maribel pretty much explore/peek between dimensions.

Hyperdimension Neptunia perhaps? I feel like that would turn out well, especially considering how the franchise already references many different video games, companies, etc...

Actually, there are already references to Touhou in Hyperdimension Neptunia, as evidenced by the Yukkuri expressions. As for an actual crossover, I could see the other world usage where Touhou characters visit, or that they're NPCs like Zack Unfair. Meimu Hakutei, or something like that.

Has anyone brought up TF2 yet? Merasmus is practically a glorified mishmash of all the Touhou character stereotypes minus the gender.

Spirited Away and EoSD take place at about the same time. I think a good crossover would be Chihiro arriving at the SDM instead of Yubaba's bathhouse.

Also Harry Potter I feel crosses over pretty well if done properly. Like say having Wormtail turn up in gensokyo, given everyone except Sirius and Remus kinda forgot about 'him'.
Though there is the Weasleys, especially Fred/George.
I'd always liked the idea of Harry becoming a Youkai with subtle references to the main canon but few (not none) of the actual touhou characters appearing - exploring how the whole 'youkai' idea meshes with magic and people's beliefs about say Dragons in the wizarding community.
(Also seen a few where the Moriya Shrine turns up at Hogsmeade... potential for culture clash, etc... but unforunately none were good :V)
And in light of ULiL, potentially having wizards 'clean up' the aftermath (obliviation) of the danmaku fights in the streets of Tokyo and then begining their own investigations into the incident, and eventually, Gensokyo, doesn't sound like a bad idea either.

Dynasty or Samurai Warriors.
I'd like to see a fan-made Touhou game based off on that, since I'd like to see a what-if scenario on the power struggle in Gensokyo unleash itself play out between everyone in the lands.
Also, it'd be funny to see how Cirno outplay Lu Bu in "Who's the Strongest _______"
