DOOM looks fantastic, although the gameplay seems kind of... pre-rendered and scripted. If this ends up like another Halo 2 with an "in-game level" and "gameplay" that was actually scripted I'm going to be very disappointed. Still, I'm gonna hope for the best and say this is gonna be good.
Dishonored 2, aw yes. I have yet to finish the first but I loved what I played of it, very nice game. Now THIS is something to be hyped about.

Pretty much this. It seems cool but if it's gonna be as buggy as Oblivion/Morrowind/FO3 then no thank you, I'll just wait for patches and hope that the patches actually do something so we don't have to wait another six months for mods

I generally don't talk about E3 because I already know what I'm going for when I see the games being released and shown off there. So yeah I'm stoked about Fallout 4 and Mother 1's release.
But really I'm more curious about the "oddity" of the group since I learned there's one company over at E3 that's completely different from the others.
Some Chinese mobile gaming group called "Patch Tech".
I'm more curious about them mainly because I'm wondering why they've come to E3.
The rumor mill that is going on about them is that they're probably going reveal their English translated version of their Kancolle-esque like mobile game "Warship Girls"
To summarize it. this is a Chinese game that sit between the borderline of being a knock-off and an original game. So it's both praised and looked down upon at the same time.
The reason it looks like a knock off, is that it' pretty much borrows ALOT of the same concepts as Kantai Collection (this even includes sound effects, gameplay mechanics, ship girls and abyssal[their concept, their designs are orginal however])
Yet at the same time, it get praise because it somehow "reinvented the wheel" by making it better than Kantai Collection in some ways which I know several gamers complained about... also it's built for mobile play.
I'm more curious about how it'll get looked upon at E3 because I have to admit, this Chinese company has got lots of balls to go trying to bring their game here (assuming they are) and not expect to be question about how it's similar to a certain well known Japanese browser game.

That being said, I did enjoy Microsoft's Hololens showing and I'm somewhat hype for Garden Warfare 2.
UPDATE: I'll probably never play this but THE HYPE FOR STAR WARS BATTLEFRONT IS REAL!...That being said, watch as it chokes on launch day. :V Still looks pretty awesome tho.

I think I have mixed feelings about FFVII remake. :ohdear:
I don't think SE should've remake FFVII, yet...it's either we're not ready, or SE isn't. They haven't fulfilled their promise before remaking VII, "Making an FF game better than VII, before remaking VII". This gives curious minds like mine, things to think like "Square Enix might be running out of ideas, or is just really downhill right now." Nevertheless, expect development hell, like XV. They haven't even released KH3, when it was already announced a few years back.
As for Shenmue 3, seriously, nothing can make me happier than to continue a game I cherished on Dreamcast all those years ago. I'm expecting a Sleeping Dogs-like gameplay.

Like I said, I also think it's too soon to be remaking VII. 20 years isn't that long. We still haven't fully delved into XV, and now, they are trying to wake up a sleeping giant. There's still not an FF noting that's "better" than VII, which is why they haven't kept their promise.
Shenmue 3 though...Might be cool, though I never got into the series before. Dem forklift races though... :D

Shenmue was like the pseudo-GTA of Dreamcast, only it had some better stuff(mostly the mini-games, oh and collecting those gashapons like Sonic. :V). Graphically, it was pretty impressive for its time too.

It's actually possible given that's it's been [coming up to] 2 years that it could be Gen 7 being announced. Some people say 6 or 8 are better than 7. I know a few people have the opinion that 10 is better.

There's plenty of reasons to be pessimistic but also plenty of reasons to be optimistic. So long as they stick with the general formula of the first they'll do fine. Even from a cynical standpoint, deviating from the original a lot is going to take extra work and money. So long as the battle system remains similar and Cloud is more FF7 Cloud than Kingdom Hearts Cloud it should be good. Hopefully. Hopefully

M&L Paper Jam looks absolutely like it's a genuine Mario & Luigi game. So that's a thing.
Biggest deals for me were that Xenoblade X and Super Mario Maker have a confirmed english release date now.
Also I want to know if that new Metroid Prime (universe) game is actually being made by Retro or not.
Overall though not much super spectacular new from Nintendo though other than Star Fox Zero.

Now I've never personally played Nier because of my lack of required console but I know someone who loves it; and I myself am into it's 'parent' franchise which is actually it's backstory.

As a massive Final Fantasy fan boy I was disappointed in no XV this year
However I'm very interested in World of Final Fantasy, looks damn adorable and fun
KH3 trailer was awesome but no speculative release so meh (can I at least get a year?)
