Robot: Ruukoto is lonely and also irrelevant nowadays, so we need a new robot. Even a cyborg will do.
Golem
Giant: No, Suika doesn't count.
Based on any real-life reptile: Kanako isn't actually a snake, so she doesn't count.
Ability

Based on how touhou gives highly abstract abilities to people, i would like to go crazy with some lovecraftian being :getdown: :getdown: :getdown:. Maybe these would be too much for 2hu.
Ability to change the number of dimensions of objects (make something go from 3d to 1d to 4d, etc. I need to read a lot about these so-called hypothetical 11 dimensions (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/String_theory#Extra_dimensions) that are all the rage these days)
Ability to create objects that can't be perceived the same way by different people (so, s/he summons a weapon. Some see a sword, others an axe, others a staff...)
Ability to create objects that can't be grasped by people (s/he makes an attack and you literally won't know what hit you. Also creates new shapes/colors/...)
Ability to remove concepts (victory/defeat/awareness)

Ninja: This is Japan after all.
We already have ninjas. The Crow Tengu. While it's not their current occupation since it's peacetime back when they were more militant it's what the Crows basically were. Literally all Aya would have to do to be a ninja is switch from using her speed and stealth to take photographs to sticking a blade in people.
Especially with someone like Hatate being able to perform recon without even being in a location; or Momji's super-vision.
Indeed, the entire Tengu society right now is geared around information gathering. Which is a vital thing before any assassination.

Not entirely in matter of species/race though. She will might be on par with Eirin as god's status in Chinese and Taoist lore (thus the title of Queen Mother of The West), as she's the one who gave Chang'e and her husband (Houyi) immortality. As might as well cunning as Yukari, as shown how she's manipulating Chinese Emperors since ancient times. She's also got a lot of worshipper, just like Kanako. As for Miko comparison, women of Chinese regard her as some kind of Female's Saint.

Species : Kamikiri
Ability : manipulating hair length (instead of only cutting it)
Occupation : hair dresser
Settings : The heroines accidentaly found out who it is that was behind the constant change in their hairstyle. The little youkai got scared, thinking she'll get exterminated, but since her ability turned out pretty mundane and convenient, they let her go. Now you can find her in the human village, masquerading as a hair dresser and making a living out of the hair and money she gets there :3
Otherwise, Satsuki Rin would be a fine alternative too.

I would like to see a girl who would have power with drawings, who could make her drawings a reality. Of course, there would be some extent to that power because otherwise, it would be too much. I wonder if I would go to the extent of making other people's drawings a reality ? In fact, I would like that char to be someone who likes to make people happy, so she would sometime go to the human village and make the children's drawing alive !

Ability: Healing and resurrecting magic (to some extent). Actual resurrection, not Seiga's zombie farm

Species: Angel
Ability: Neutralizing any special abilities. She would be a relatively weak character on her own, thus a fight with her would be won by the smartest and most skilled, not by the superpower-lottery winner. Basic traits like a youkai's strength and regeneration would remain, though.
Context: It would be interesting to have someone like this, causing an incident by making nearly everyone on the same level (however, normal humans would still have a very hard time confronting a youkai).

Species: Demon (boogey-wo-man)
Ability: Manipulating "darkness, shadows and void".
Basically, is what i think Ex-Rumia would be if she was canon (or when she has lived long enough). She would be able to cut/destroy anything by creating void fields/black holes, using shadows to control whatever she wants or instantly teleport to any shadow source (it would mean controlling anything at will, and teleporting anywhere she wants, during the night or in dark places), and become intangible like Suika. Her darkness would not only absorb light, but also any other kind of energy (momentum, heat).
A cape, and a sword capable of capturing the victim's soul and of actually cutting objets by stabbing their shadows would be needed to complete her "too-cool-for-you" appearance.
Generally, i'd like to see more european-based characters, like the four horsemen of Apocalypse, or an actual western witch with more witch-like spells than Marisa's magic (turning people into frogs, love/hate potions, seeing the future, casting curses, and so on), and obviously Gensokyo's version of Jesus and Satan (but maybe they would be too much to have as bosses, one being the son/daughter of an omnipotent god and the other one among its best creations).
Ancient european mythology is cool too.

Koakuma doesn't count. I like how she gets depicted, but she doesn't even have an actual profile/ability/reason to exist. Besides, i want to see an actual full-powered devil, not a "far weaker one" without dialogues.

I'm kinda interested to see more western demons and greek mythological creatures like Medusas, Minotaurs and such, but I guess that wouldn't be touhou-like.

I know who you are talking about. I know about this stuff culturally from being chinese.

I never noticed that she was cunning, but hey, there are different variations of stories.
That said, Eirin is as cunning as Yukari, if not more so. Yuyuko is sharper than Yukari. I don't quite understand how Yukari fits this.
Miko is viewed as a saint, but that is as far as the comparison goes. Miko uses religion as a weapon, not something that character would do.
The best comparison would be to Eirin, the others don't make much sense. Their personalities are nothing like hers. Eirin is most likely a god and helps people out with medicine.

I would like to see some greek myth or norse myth characters. Like an Athena or Thor. With Thor, there could be some interactions with Remilia.

You are correct. I looked at it and it does mention that Koakuma is weaker than Akuma (Devil).
Don't know why the wiki added far weaker, since I am not seeing it in the Japanese text.

Djinn: It's not too much of a stretch and the powerset - granting wishes - is fairly obvious.
Kitsune: Still not represented, as Satsuki Rin is non-canon by all but the most forgiving definitions.
Goryō: A type of vengeful spirit that isn't in the series right now - the current vengeful spirits are all onryō, and are not characters (barring Mima and loosely Soga no Tojiko).
Tsukumogami: Specifically candle tsukumogami or other lighting-related ones.
Mushroom: If plants can become youkai, why not fungi?
Ability:
Instant mastery of any task/ability.
Brainwashing and memory manipulation.
The ability to make people feel suspicious of the user, at all times.
The ability to make everyone spontaneously break into a musical.
The ability to create physical laws in a fight which apply to both the user and the opponent.

Personality: Brutish but wise, knowledgeable in superstition ("Fire tames wild!"). Apparently has difficulty interacting with the more civilized folks due to difficulty with language.
Occupation: Survivalist experienced in primitive yet effective methods. The equivalent of Mokou for the Youkai Mountain with less fire and more brute force.
Species:Human (Outsider)
Ability:Create constructs out of sheer belief
Personality: Strongly believes in harmony, justice and hope. Carries unshakable faith in an off-realm deity, which brings friction with the existing factions.
Occupation: Missionary//Paladin

Personality: Rather lost and unfamiliar with her own powers since she's a newcomer to the mystical land of Gensokyo. A bit shy. Feels great levels of guilt over her crimes in the past life and is looking to correct her bad reputation in the outside world for good.

I'd like to see Hanako-san make an "official" appearance. She was *technically* in Double Spoiler, but I'd like to actually see her in appear in the Touhou-verse as a legit character. Too bad she's prob too popular in the Real World...She'd probably be like a celebrity in Gensokyo...
I think ZUN could draw her in a unique way, although again, she kind of already has an "official" design, but I'd like to see how he would play off that. Maybe she could show up in the Manga or something...
Species: Youkai, although a lot of people mistake her for a Yurei because of her nature.
Personality: Shy at first, but once you get to know her, she becomes very loud-mouthy and demands things of you. She seems spoiled. The human village spreads rumors about her, so everyone knows who she is. Marisa claims to know all about her, but when asked about it more she declines to answer and avoids any further questions about it. Some think that she got spooked by Hanako at one point. She is sometimes jokingly made fun of behind her back and called the "constipated ghost" but it is unknown if she knows people call her this.
Abilities: Seems to be able to teleport, but really she's just able to turn invisible for periods of time. If she's invisible, she will respond if her name is called 3 times consecutively.
Occupation: Nobody knows but she seems to haunt the bathrooms in various locations around Gensokyo. Reimu tried to get her to cooperate and unclog some of the toilets around town, but it didn't work simply because Hanako was the reason behind the toilets clogging in the first place.

I prolly could work something even better but I think this is too golden not to share.
Species - either a youkai, whatever Kyoko is, or Amanojaku.
Personality - she's very mean to people, she insults a lot and use vulgar languages, she also tend to find reasons to hate people and mess with them. (kinda like a trickster).
in a way, I can see her being a Yandere if she were to love someone. (which she usually not cuz her moto is 'fuck you all').
Abilities: ability to shout curses. this makes her capable of actual cursing someone with legit curses or just make her target hear the curses she says. (though sometimes she can fake voices of others and make them think another person said the curse words). also works with curse words that arent magically, though they just hear it, and possibly get provoked.
Occupation - she just seems to go around Gensokyo and trying to provoke and piss off everyone cuz she's a jerk.

Species: Said to be an "Eye of Providence", but it more of an Eldritch Abomination if you ask me about her
Abilities: Known ones are manipulation of illumination, very mild psychological manipulation and omnipresence to some degree. We can't exactly confirm this due to her shady and esoteric nature as a personified secret society.
Occupation: Unemployed, she's an anthropomorphized real-life defunct secret society and a Lovecraftian horror, do you think it would be possible for her to even get a job let alone hold a stable one?
Personality: She's quite internet savvy and is quite in tune with real world major events. 9/11, Ebola, Flight MH370, Zayn Malik leaving One Direction, you name it. She's tired of being blamed for everything and having herself be unnecessarily demonized in modern media. Generally, she's sympathetic and docile if not a bit socially inept, but she's not beyond using her abilities to manipulate others when she needs to. Smart and quick-witted, loves geometry and mathematics. Tends to sound vaguely passive-aggressive when speaking.

Hm, yeah, gotta agree with this. "What types of species, abilities and occupations would you like to see" is a lot different than "post your OCs here". I'd split this thread, but there's OCs mixed in with the posts following OP's format, so I'd recommend instead that from here on out if people want to share their OCs they just make a new thread. I think that's fairest for everyone involved.

I'd like to see two youkai.
One that represents good fortune, and the other bad fortune. Would be interesting characters.

I really wouldn't mind seeing any species to show up, though I do wonder how the residents of Gensokyo and accessible realms in the land establish distance messaging between their respective territories.
Perhaps a messenger who in charge of this department, who so happens to be a ninja, maybe?
