I'm annoyed they even meddled in this to begin with, but whatever. Once I get my paycheck tomorrow I'll buy this game, because my inner nostalgia would not allow me to ignore it otherwise. Keep up the good work, Rou! ;)
Also that Teamwork mechanic is awesome and I wish more games had something like that.
EDIT: Most of you may know this but Chroma Squad was made by the same company who made Knights of Pen and Paper, which is a pretty nice RPG too so all of you should download and play it.

One thing you forgot to mention in this episode: if anyone counters the Boxing Box before you kill the minions, it counts as attacking it and you won't get the Instruction completed for it. :fail: I learned this the hard way while playing...How many tries did it take you to finish this episode?

On the bright side, now that they're all piled up I can hit them all with one Stunning Pose from Iced. I think this is about as useful as that skill's ever going to get.
Eventually you can get its cooldown to "I can use this every single turn". It doesn't take up your turn. Enjoy permastunning any nearby enemies, or perpetually halving the boss' actions. Stunning Pose is stupid good.
Also screw time limits with Breadcrumblers. I swear to god the early missions have super tight time limits and then after season 2 everything's like twice as long as you can finish it in and it's ridiculous.
Also Transitmancer's been the hardest fight in the game so far. But apparently his Hard mode stats are just near impossible for some people for some reason so idk.
finally finally I don't think it's actually possible to get an Excellent on season 1. Like you can literally have maxed audience and all director's orders and not get it. For some reason by comparison there's a fair leeway in future seasons so don't worry you'll activate your hype machine in full power soon 8D

The only way you can lose fans (that I've found) is to 'game over' - the game lets you retry the specific scene at the cost of a miniscule number of fans.
like really it's like 10 fans it's nothing.
(also fan club is like the worst set of passives in the game you will be rolling in audience without them)

In short, I was afraid of straw feminism (http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/StrawFeminist). But instead they actually seemed to really believe that avoiding obvious, overplayed gender tropes was a good thing, and I was really impressed by that.

There was actually an update a few days ago that changed the game in a couple ways. The big things first off were the significant nerfing to audience gains and increasing money costs (those fan club skills are actually really useful now as opposed to completely unnecessary), and that a couple episodes have been temporarily removed - the blackouts episode in season 2, and the ironing man episode. Mostly because apparently they're causing hell to some newer players and they want to rebalance them.
Oh well. Need to play this and get significantly ahead of you again!

I'm actually on Season 5 right now - I've got a lot of backlog stored. I hit Season 5 just before the big drop, so even though my fans/cash have fallen through the floor I'm still so crazy rich that it doesn't even matter. :V
And personally I wonder about that whole pacing issue. Given that the two episodes that got removed were ones that took obvious pot shots at Saban and Marvel...

Cleave Time is pretty great, but so's Trample. The thing the game doesn't list on a lot of actions is which ones are 'free' (EG don't consume your turn), and Trample's one of them. You can move five spaces in a straight line (barring terrain), damaging every enemy in your way, for free. And every other turn. I found this a lot more useful simply because half my turns were Squarehouse kicks anyway. (But they're both really solid abilities)
And yeah Biinon's is so stupid OP it's hilarious.

This has happened with several emails, actually. I think it's a Kickstarter thing, where it picks a random backer and then lists them as the sender...except this sender is rerolled every time you look away from the email and then look back. So yeah, it looks pretty damn weird. :V

That was a fun ride, I'm glad you LP'd that. It's probably not something I'd play myself because tactical RPGs tend not to work out well for me, but I'm glad to have seen it.
