Hello all! :D
Everyone knows that Gensokyo is the most fashionable land in the entire world! So, who do you think is the best dressed Touhou girl of them all?
My vote goes to Parsee and Shoutoku no Miko (can't decide between the two of them).
I just like how their outfits and hair look on them. Miko's dress in particular is very pretty and the colors on it mesh well.

I think Kagerou's pretty well dressed :3 She has a nice elegant dress, brooch, painted nails... The colours look very nice together and her outfit is just overall very pretty :D

And as far as hats goes, I'm torn between Suwako and Tenshi's hats

Hmmm best dressed is a bit over the top for me but pretty nicely and beautifully dressed persons are:
Kaku Seiga, Yukari in chinese version dress, and you wouldn't believe it but I think Marisa is usually pretty well dressed. Even if she looks like an ordinary magician.

Depends on what outfit she's wearing. Her FS and ULiL dress is indeed pretty nice in my opinion.

I kind of enjoyed Marisa the most in UFO. The extra apron-like thing with M on her skirt was just supreme fashion in my opinion.

Also Reimu's Red-White Miko Dress with those famous Armpits are pretty nice too.

Seiga, Byakuren and Kasen are probably the top for me, Yukari looks refined but maybe a bit too many frills.
For some weird reason i find Sanae way better looking than Reimu, even if it's basically just a slight color change
On a side note, the cape of Utsuho is made of pure Win!

I'm going to have to go with Sanae on this one. Excellent color coordination and use of accessories, the design is practical but snazzy.
That, or Eirin because that is one bold outfit. Earns points for daring alone.

Marisa(I like her 14.5 style more btw), her witch clothes are probably one of the most iconic. Being simple, but suits her rather western looks.
Toyosatomimi no Miko is just fabulous esp. with her cape.

It's old, I know. And Not her legit looks, but still f-in fabulous with her colors there. Also I guess I'd credit how her hair matches her clothes.
I guess that's it. I don't know if Mokou's clothes are any good, but I really like her wearing those pants.

As soon as i read "wide clothes" i remembered Yuyuko..... how in the blazes did i forget?! Put her right up there with the other 3 on top, maybe even above....

Mokou,Wriggle,Meiling, Anything with pants/shorts to be honest....Because i am the kind of guy that prefers seeing girls in pants over skirts :V

If I put a 3rd place it would probobly be Seiga Kaku.
[NB: This is all according to my completely subjective opinions. Raiko blows everyone else out of the water in terms of style and outfit IMO.]

Yukari's PCB outfit is one outfit I would love to wear if I was the opposite sex.
And Kaguya's, too.

Personally, I've always loved the design of Kotohime's outfit from PoDD. Big, strong colours and a nice flowery theme. Must be illuminated pretty well when she blows things up.
I also like Raiko and Yuuka's style, since it looks pretty cool.

Some 98 char have this "lady aura" around them. I am mostly thinking about Kana, Elly and Louise here. There's also Yuuka on her pc 98 outfit, where she wears pants with her long hairs, and she's strongly elegant like this.
I strongly like Marisa on her 98 outfit, especially in PoDD where she looks like a wizard, her dress is long and is purple, and her hairs seems smooth. I love Rikako because she's the only one to have the scientific look, and that I enjoy the scientific thing. I always loved Mugetsu's design, I know that I could say that I love Ruukoto, Sakuya and Yumeko's one since it's pretty much the same thing, but I don't know, her face goes well with her outfit and all.
I like Meiling's outfit, it's pretty. Yakuri in PCB is just omg. I must say that Lunasa on her "black gothic" outfit in PoFV is just so epic and fit well with the personality of the character. I like the simple outfit Reisen have, more the PoFV one where her shirt is white. I REALLY love Medicine' outfit: because it's red/black(and purple/black on her alternate color), and I love these two mixes. Also because she have a little similarity with Rin Satsuki. And she also make me think of a Rozen Maiden, I tend to find that funny.(and some dolls were great in rozen maiden). I don't know why, but I think that Shizuha is wonderful, her dress is actually pretty simple but very effective, she have the head to wear this dress, I don't know how to explain it. You couldn't give her a better outfit, honnestly. Hina have really an impressive one, she looks like a 5th boss, I strongly like her boots, and she have this black/red mix that I really love. Parsee has a great fashion sense imo, pretty original and epic. It's inimitable. Kagerou seems like a singer on her dress, imo, it's really lady like, lol. as for Seija, it's the same as shizuha: simple but strongly effective. Raiko have just a great fashion sense, I love the white color, it's classy and beautiful, so she really stands out in the touhou universe because she have a more modern design.

But I have to say that Raiko is simply impossible to match in terms of sheer snazziness.

Mima's PoDD/MS design is pretty classy-looking, in my opinion. (The wizard hat is a little goofy, though.)
Yumemi's outfit (which is similar to Mima's :V) is also pretty nice.
Also, I agree with all the people who said Raiko.

You know, Wakasagihime is very well dressed for a fish. Hell, everyone in 14 has pretty snazzy outfits. Not over the top (except maybe Seija), simple, cool.

How could I forget Raiko????? She is pretty awesome in the fashion department too! To those talking about hats, my personal favorite is Koishi's hat (no, it's not because of a certain creepy fan fiction). I'm not sure about Sanae though. I always thought her outfit looked funny and paled in comparison to Reimu's...

Byakuren for me. But I also like Udonge's plain clothes and Mokou's badass pants. :)
Oh, Yuuka dresses rather elegantly too, and Yuyuko with her kimono. :3

My vote goes to Parsee and Shoutoku no Miko (can't decide between the two of them).
While I do love that little troll, I can't say that she's the best dressed... rather the worst. Brown, blue, purple, red ribbons, together with blonde hair... And too many layers. But that's also part of her appeal.
My favourite is probably Yukari's IN dress. I've always liked Hina's style too. Reimu and Marisa are simple, but neat.
I don't know if it's all that fashionable, but Seija's design is amazing. She's certainly one of the coolest designs ZUN has ever done.
I'm surprised that no one has mentioned Remilia, though. She can be pretty fancy.

I'll second the "everyone in DDC looks great" sentiment. Kagerou might have my favorite outfit in the whole series.
And I like Satori's clothing a lot too. It's so un-fashionable it's fashionable. Definitely looks like something she was just wearing around her house when you rudely interrupted her, and in a land where everyone has the most complicated clothes ever, casual is cool.

I've always liked Hina's style too.
I totally forgot to mention her. But yes, I also like her style a lot. It looks really elegant with those ribbons and all. For some reason she reminds me of a Rozen Maiden character. :)
I also prefer PC-98 Reimu's design over the Windows one. I dunno, back then she looked more like an actual miko with those traditional clothes. Not trying to say the current design is bad, but I just happen to prefer the old one.

Most of DDC's cast was pretty well dressed
Sekibanki's clothes were cool and suited her
Kagerou was very refined
Seiga gets points for creativity, flipping her bow and what not
Sukuna gets points because bowl-hat
And Raiko probably has the most modern outfit in the series in my opinion
I liked Yukari's outfit in the fighters
Marisa gets points for keeping it fresh, changing almost every game
I've always been fond of Nue's outfit as well, it's so simple but it works
Kasen just gets points for being Kasen, but her outfit is pretty awesome too
were we only supposed to pick one? This is to hard......

I think Yuyuko, Byakuren, and Miko all have great outfits. In Miko's case though I only really thought that after seeing fanart of her. :P
And maybe Yukari and Aya? Though I like Aya's design for more than her outfit, like the way her wings are part of the color scheme.

Raiko's outfit is just awesome. I'd have to say in term of sheer appeal, Raiko doesn't just blow everyone out of the water, she destroys the water. :p
Otherwise, I'm rather fond of Yuuka's dress, as its simplicity meshes well with the flower fields she commonly resides.

I'm shocked no one mentioned the Watatsuki sisters to be honest. I think that blouse with dress combo looks super stylish (along with the belt and hat/ribbon). Though I definitely do share the sentiment that TH14 characters look very well-dressed and pretty much just any character named here.

I have a soft spot for Mokou's outfit as well. she knows her outfit coordination, you gotta admit!

Komachi's outfit is pretty nice. Shinmyoumaru, Seija, Futo and Tojiko too. Kyouko has a lovely color scheme and Raiko deserves some extra brownie points for being Michael Jackson.

For EoSD, patchouli- pajamas are awesome; I think the strongest argument for Gensokyo being a legitimate paradise is that one is able to get away with wearing them 24-7.
PCB gives us Youmu's outfit, which I like because it somehow looks like a servant's uniform despite avoiding the usual cliches of maid or butler suits. Alice's is pretty stylish too, what with the colours and ribbons and hairband and shawl.
IN has Yukari's cool outfit, and PoFV yields Yuuka's, both of whom look very well dressed in some art floating around the net.
There are a few others that I think qualify, but these are probably the main ones.
Incidentally, mop hats and parasols and hand fans form the three imperial regalia of Japanese fashion, so Yukari wins in the end, I should think.

Aya's professional look is also appealing.

Raiko is specifically 'borrowing energy' of modern drums, so her outfit probobly reflects that she is literally drawing her power from the modern world. She's a 'Modern Tsukumogami'. In fact; since Tsukumogami are literally the spirits of the item, Raiko's 'clothing' is literally an extension of her modern drumset. So it's natural that her clothing would be modern.
That said if we wanna get really technical; theoretically Raiko shouldn't even count, since her 'body' is just a spiritual manifestation created by the drums and thus there is no real clothing. The same goes for all Tsukumogami. [Kogasa, Benben, ect] That said; a lot of this depends on your headcanon on how Tsukumogami work. As far as I am concerned the human portion of a Tsukumogami is an illusion created by the item to better express and represent themselves. Which is why Raiko looks modern, or at least recent, and Kogasa has Heterochromia [Kogasa actually only has one eye. So her other eye is blue to match the rest of the projection's base color, although why her outfit is blue and not purple I don't know, perhaps because she is rather easily upset]
Oppose Poltergheists, who are not the objects, but are spirits possessing objects they chose [And can switch objects if they desire]. The Primsrivers; and other ghosts, probobly do have [spectral] wardrobes. Unless they are stuck wearing whatever they were wearing when they died.
tl;dr: I overthink things sometimes.

On the ghosts having different wardrobes, Yuyuko does this (and her clothes are pretty). In SSiB she has a wide variety of different patterns on her kimonos and she usually does not wear the same one from previous games.

Definitely agree with this. I also like Byakuren's crisscross black and white dress, pretty unusual in a place with hundreds of colorful wardrobes. Also Youmu just for the little ghosties on the hem of her skirt. Absolutely Fashonaaaabluh

New character Sumirenko has the most epic "evil villain" get-up in the entire series, gotta love capes with transdimensional patterns in them, even if Utsuho did it first

I agree, Sumireko's outfit is awesome! Though I guess having some aspects of Renko's outfit helps. Renko has a really nice outfit herself, as does Maribel. Oh, and Sumireko's hat... for all we know she handed it down to Renko.

I do have a soft spot for the more simple clothed ones myself. Rumia, Cirno, PCB Yukari, Mokou, Shizuha, etc. Also Satori and Koishis clothing I like for some reason, especially Koishi's hat.

I love Sumireko's outfit, especially that rune cape.
After saying that, though, Raiko has pretty nice clothes, and Yukari, Kasen, Shinmyoumaru and Shou too. And Suwako, solely because of the facial expressions of the frogs on her dress.
They're all very well-dressed, really.

I love Meiling's outfit. It's simple and sweet. Seiga's outfit is really pretty as well, I love her little vest. Yukari's IN dress is great, too. Keine's dress is one of my favs also.

Sumireko's clothes really are pure win. The only thing i don't particularly like are the glasses, because i don't like them i general, but i admit they add some appeal to her whole mysterious appearance.
I'd like to see ZUN's concept for her though, to see how he actually imagined her.

You know what I find funny about Sumireko? Her glasses, her hair and her look remind me of ZUN's wife. :V

Everything in touhouvania was awesome, I was always particularly fond of Patchouli's outfit in those games, I liked the hood :P

And what of hairstyles ? Eirin's big braided hairstyle seems pretty OK for me.

I've always really enjoyed Yamame's clothes even if she was kind of a minor character. I also really like Remi's clothes but I agree that Raiko is the most stylish xD

Yukari immediately comes to mind, her dress is pretty fanceh.
I really like Byakuren's outfit as well, especially her bamboo hat in the fighting games.
Ichirin's pretty well dressed as well, I really like her hood.
Alice is pretty classy.
Lastly, I really like Sakuya's maid uniform :3.
