Ummm i'm fiairly new here and was wondering if i'm making a non-touhou game and not using Denmakufu however it was a danmaku style of game where would be the best place to post? as i need some peeps to help me out with it
Edit: So i'm currently in the middle of making a very short game using Game Maker: Studio and every mechanic and system is hand crafted to the best of my coding knowledge (which isn't too extensive at this current moment sadly) this game is only one stage long and it is going to be Extra stage difficulty and the reason why i have done it like this is so i can a sort of frame work for any future games i make. It is based in the MLP universe but it controls and functions similarly to any touhou game however the main mechanic for this project is that when you Graze a large amount of denmaku you will gain 0.25% which will be added to a point multiplier.

However please bare in mind that the exacutable i have given is a Beta not even classing as a demo just yet it will show the Midboss's attacks and also the player talk sprite is a stock image until i get around to drawing the actual talk sprite for the player.
as for the help i am requiring is primarily the Music for the game as im having a real issue with trying to find someone who will help me and is able to pull off a ZUN like style of music. Further more i'm also needing help with the Sprites as all the sprites so far are stock sprites that im just recycling until i can find someone who is happy to ether make them for me or at least teach me how to! Coding and art are my two stronger aspects i possess so i can do most other things apart from the two i explained about!

Though if you want help, it may be useful to you to actually tell people what you specifically want help with to begin with. :P

yah, u coo here. remember that your first game is not about what features are in your game, but what mechanics you will base your future games on. Think of it as a stepping stone to knowing where you fit.

Again, my point was to make your statement on what you need to begin with anyway so people don't have to pry the answer out of you. It's easier to be clear with what you want (and will be better for getting the help you need because people who know what they're talking about can chime in without having to guess what you want. :P
To be candid, my point is: please add more substance to the thread or you're not going to get very far (and honestly low quality topics are generally frowned upon).

it has taken me several months to get this demo finished and now its finally done! :D
The demo is half of a stage that will be of Extra stage difficulty the game is based on MLP and includes my friend's OC Lightning when the game is complete it will have my character Midnight as the stages boss
the purpose of this game that im making and the reason its slightly cheesy and only one stage is because its made to act as a sort of test run of some game mechanics that im going to include in future games it also stands as a portfolio peice for anyone who is wanting to join with me to hopefully make my games more better in quality. in this demo there is severial things missing besides the lack of a second half of the stage and thats sound effects, Music and also sprites too so if you can help with any one of these please PM me or get in contact with me one way or another!
