I am making a new thread specifically to announce my new waifu: Megumi Katou. She is the best.

I have concerns about her warping my image of Maribel into second Katou. Not like that would be a big problem, though, as fictional characters are not really jealous against each other, and what's the worst could happen when the best girl becomes the best girl?

This is secretly one of the best shows airing this season.  It's written so well.

(I wonder if "ending is flushed" (like toilets and DotA2 runs) is a thing there.)
I seriously am not sure whether it's sarcasm or not.

But anyway, Katou is the best girl. That's a fact.

I don't think there's going to be a particularly good ending yet - there's more content than there is scheduled anime, and as far as I know the LN the show is based off hasn't finished yet.

If there's a second season planned (and there should be, since we haven't even met music girl yet and there's only 2 more episodes this season, but BD sales may change that) it won't be for at least a year since noitaminA is scaling back from 2 shows a week to 1, and they already have their next four shows lined up.

That said this is my favorite show airing this season and I like everything about it.

I've rotated between all the characters, except for the red-haired chick.

Music girl is this week.

I understand that preliminary appeal of the show is very high in Japan, making a second season likely.  It would probably wait for the LNs to finish, however - or do a "simultaneous completion" like oreimo and some other shows - so it would work out for noitaminA anyway.

what do you not like the glorious kneesocks of katsugakamidadada utaha

tbh i liked shichika's characterization from bland->personality better in katanagatari but for an ln i suppose turning a blind eye to poe's law once im a while is cool

i am watching the show only for utaha so hard though

Read the Koisuru Metronome spinoff. It's the reason why Utaha and Megumi are tied for my number 1.
