I agree it's quite early for an adaptation for this, but I guess an adaptation for it was inevitable regardless.
Hope it's done justice.
Don't you know? Early adaptations are all the range these days! Everything is adapted long before it would finish before the anime is forced to stop or filler.Yep, this seemed to happen a lot recently. I'm really not a fan of this format of "Hey, buy dem DVDs if you want to see the rest!", but it's Onepunch-man so I'm okay with that.
JAM Project was a perfect choice for the Opening.
What does it mean, to be the strongest?Well, you don't see many animes where there's a death flag as simple as meeting MC with wrong words.
A hero is someone who just happens to be honestly passing by.ok :V
I'm just wondering, but has there been an announcement of a 2nd season for One Punch Man?From what I've heard, One Punch Man will be continued in the form of OVA.
I finished the anime but it left me feeling underwhelmed. I'm feeling like Saitama where I'm disappointed when I destroy everything in one punch. I'm waiting for when he faces a worthy adversary. I want to see Saitama bleed. In the 12 eps, the scene I enjoyed most was Saitama training with Genos.
IIRC, the author wants a 2nd season, but yeah, it's Madhouse's call, because I don't think any other studio would be able to handle it.
But; and I never thought I'd say this; I actually think good filler might be the answer. Work with the mangaka and create eps that focus on other heroes as filler. Especially given the Hero Hunter arc; I can see potential for a filler around Bang in his prime. Metal Bat might be another candidate seeing as he has a decent role in the Hero Hunter arc too.
That's a pretty good idea.
I wouldn't mind the filler episodes take the direction of nichijou with segmented clips of humor, though that wouldn't tell much about the story and couldn't last too many episodes because it'd stray way too far from the mainline anime.
On a completely unrelated note, an obligatory Touhou crossover (https://youtu.be/IGvP_zZOxS4).
