Title: Updating DDC

I'm trying to update DDC to version 1.00b, but when I try to, it just stops (as in, it lets me put in where the folder is to update, but it just stops when it tries to update at 0%).
Could anybody help?  :ohdear:

Can you post screenshots of what the installer looks like when you try to patch?
Are you running the patch as Administrator? (right-click the installer --> run as administrator)

I'm not running it as administrator. Also, I can't post any screenshots, but it just stops doing the update straight away at 0%.
EDIT: I just ran it as administrator. Just gives the same result.

Make sure the game is in a directory with only English letters (no Japanese characters, no English letters with accents, etc).
When you select the folder, make sure the installer isn't appending an extra folder name to the end of the directory; if it is, just delete that extra folder name.

Edit: I successfully unpatched and repatched my copy of DDC.
I did the following: open the installer, click Yes, click ??..., select my DDC directory, click (OK).
The installer then patched the following 4 files: custom.exe, readme.txt, th14.dat, and th14.exe.

Open DDC and look for the version number at the lower-right corner of the main menu. What is that version number?
What files are currently inside your DDC directory?
What version of Windows are you using?

I have this same problem as well, except when I run the patch it says it won't run at all. Should I uninstall and re-install it or what. Also when I try to run the game itself it says th14 has stopped working.

What language/locale is your computer set to? Are you using thcrap? Are you able to run other Touhou games?

Yes I use thcrap but when i use the configure option for thcrap it doesnt show anything for "th14". I can run every other game well except DDC.
Ok I can't install Applocale at all because it says im missing some components which are necessary to install it
Im using windows 8.1 but I always see something about applocale with windows xp

If thcrap can't detect th14 and th14 crashes without thcrap, then my guess is your th14 install is corrupt. Try reinstalling the game.

Well i got thcrap to translate it, so its working now. I had to manually search for it in the thcrap directory though
