(Excuse me for bugging everyone with my questions...  :ohdear:  )

I can't beat the Stage 5 boss (I won't spoil her name) in time to get a good ending.
Is that being caused by me playing on easy or am I too slow?
Any answer would be appreciated  :)

It's because you're playing on easy.

I'm assuming that this is Story of Eastern Wonderland, as it's technically the second Touhou game. You can't get a good ending if you play on easy.

But if you mean Perfect Cherry Blossom, it's the same with SoEW, where you can't easy clear and get a good ending.

Hey, I've cleared PCB on Easy enough times to know that you can totally get a good ending on this difficulty. As for SoEW, I don't have much first hand experience, but I've seen Easy runs that reach a good ending on Youtube (like this one (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xxuqUvLtc5c)). And the wiki says:
