Title: New Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu mystery launched

tl;dr 707 images were scattered throughout japan and have to be found and uploaded to a website, and then... uh, ~~who knows~~ God knows

I give it 2 maybe 3 days for those Japanese to find them all, and then we'll know

The only thing that changes every time is the animation but it's only subtle changes that don't really make it worth it. It could have been less than 8 episodes easily.

Maybe not for you, but they made it for me. Especially knowing from pretty much the second iteration that this was most likely some kind of timeloop thing.

The real letdown? What broke the cycle in the end. I mean seriously, doing homework together? For real? Nerds.

I saw it significantly after it came out, but with no prior knowledge. I couldn't stop watching it because I was expecting something to happen, and it was hilarious when it didn't. I think it's one of the most elaborate, funniest jokes I've ever seen in a sitcom, but also kind of fuck them but yeah I liked it.

I think the concept is neat, and for those who can't handle all 8 in a row, I devised a better way to watch them.

Watch the first one, pick any random one between 2 and 7, then watch the last one. Gives the idea the plotline there was meant to do, but doesn't drag it on for two-thirds of an anime season.

I personally didn't mind it TOO much, though I don't know if I could sit through the whole thing more than the once I did when I first got S2's collection.

Personally, I thought Endless eight was amazing. Though, it's hard to replicate the experience, as people already know how long it is and when it ends. I liked looking at every episode wondering if they were finally going to solve the endless eight mystery. Seeing people rage over it was entertaining too. It's like I was reading Bleach during the arrancar arc.

I didn't have any problems with the endless eight, but the rest of S2 was IMO disappointing compared to the first one.
