Man, I wonder if any actual events are going to get ruined by this? I remember one women's fencing match got ruined because of equipment malfunctions during the Beijing Olympics; and I think a gymnast got paralyzed due to a collapsing scaffolding?

As always, I told myself I was going to focus on the figure skating this year, and then I got dragged into watching everything else and blowing several hours watching events I don't even actually care about, like luge and hockey. Oops.
