I found it incredibly lackuster, with a boring, mostly predictable plot (the ending had a great twist, though) and only one memorable song (guess which). Character design was probbaly the worst I've even seen from Disney, with completely uninspired looks for everyone. It's SPECIALLY bad for Elsa and Anna, who look like the lost twins of Rapunzel. Elsa's Ice Queen outfit was the only good design, imo. The backgrounds were likewise very "meh", nothing particularly interesting or eye-catching (other than Elsa's Ice Castle, which, like everything about Elsa, was gorgeous).
The only things that I feel that give this movie redeeming factors is the ending twists (Hans being the villain and sisterly love breaking the curse
), Olaf (that snowman really grew on me) and Elsa. DAMN that queen is awesome. Her ice powers are incredible, and I generally like characters of the "dignified fa?ade/terrified of themselves inside" kind. Anna is fine, but she's basically Rapunzel with shorter hair. They both have basically the same personality, quirks and mannerisms (bumbling spunky princess who talks very fast).
Overall, I'd say it was pretty damn weak, with some good moments that really don't hold the movie up as a whole. Eh well, another one to the pile of "great traditional stories that Disney diluted as much as possible".
...did I mention I really liked Elsa? I really liked Elsa. Best Disney Queen.
The twist wasn't really a twist at all, imo. I mean, the finishing each other's...sandwiches!
part was a dead giveaway. Even my little sister expected it.

How is that line that can be perfectly taken as a simple joke (and I'm pretty sure it IS just that) foreshadowing at all? =P Dude acted exactly like every other Disney prince. He displayed no villanious traits whatsoever until the end.
. And frankly if you ever went to see a Disney movie expecting a super-original plot rather than a crazy cute fantasy tale with corny songs and lots of colors boy you're doing it wrong :derp:
It didn't have to be super special incredible original (although hey, I don't know why it'd be wrong to expect something different from a company that is known for their creativity and innovation (or at least, was known for that)), it just had to be interesting. Which, for the most part, it wasn't. Specially the visuals, which were boring as fuck (except for Elsa making her ice castle. That was awesome).
but hey, ~opinions~ :derp:
